Amid all the appreciation the trailer of 'Jolly LLB 3' is getting, Arshad Warsi shared an incident about getting fired, while shooting the second instalment of this franchise.
The makers dropped the blockbuster trailer of the upcoming film, Jolly LLB 3 on September 10, 2025, which has already become the fan favourite because of its sharp courtroom drama mixed with humour. During the trailer launch of the film in Kanpur, Arshad Warsi shared an interesting incident about the time when he was fired from Jolly LLB 2 by the director. Read on to the reason behind this.
Recently, the cast and director of the film, Jolly LLB 3, came together in Kanpur for the trailer launch of the film. During an interaction, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi were asked about their creative inputs in the film, to which the actors replied that the director is very strict and does not allow anyone to interfere in between. Arshad jokingly mentioned that when he tried to give inputs during Jolly LLB 2, he was fired from the film. He shared:
"This man is strict about the written word. He makes sure that we say what he has written. If you go beyond it, you might get fired. Maine pehli film mein bola, mujhe nikaal dia. Our director is a strict taskmaster."
During the same trailer launch in Kanpur, Arshad Warsi was asked about his experience of working with Akshay Kumar on this film. He was asked about the arguments he and Akshay have in the film and the actor said that they have fought a couple of times but they have made the film with a lot of love. In his words:
"Kalesh toh nahi. I really enjoyed working with Akshay. I wish that we continue to make more Jollys. There is only one person who has to handle all our mess, and it’s Saurabh Shukla. He deals with our tantrums. We just have our fun. We fought a bit but we also made the film with a lot of love."
Jolly LLB franchise started in 2013, as a smart and funny courtroom drama, which mixed humour and real social life issues. The first film introduced, 'Jagdish (Jolly) Tyagi', played by Arshad Warsi and focused on one small lawyer’s fight against powerful, corrupt forces. The sequel released in 2017, and it starred Akshay Kumar as 'Jolly'. Saurabh Shukla returned in his role as the memorable judge. The third instalment will feature a fun fight between Akshay and Arshad, both of whom pretend to be 'Jolly'.
