Abhishek Bajaj's sister took to her social media handle to bash 'Bigg Boss 19' contestants, Amaal Mallik and Kunicka Sadanand, for targeting her brother.
Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 19 has been dominating the small screens. Several groups and game plans have emerged in the Bigg Boss 19 house, with contestants competing against each other in tasks. This has led to numerous fights and feuds. Amid this, Abhishek Bajaj's sister, Ekta Bajaj, took to her social media handle to slam Amaal Mallik and Kunickaa Sadanand for targeting her brother in the house. Here's what she has to say.
Ekta Bajaj, the sister of Bigg Boss 19 contestant, Abhishek Bajaj, took to her social media to defend her brother against housemates. She tagged the official handles of JioHotstar and Colors TV and called out Amaal Mallik for his use of 'abusive and uneven' words towards Abhishek. Ekta called out both Amaal and Kunickaa Sadanand for making remarks against her brother over food, tasks and even assassinating his character, allegedly. Abhishek's sister stated:
"Respect dono taraf se di jaati hai. Abhishek never got aggressive, but the way Amaal pushed and used such abusive uneven words for him was absolutely wrong. If Abhishek had done this, everyone would have appealed for his elimination. Why isn’t any action taken against the culprits? Abhishek ke saath physical violence… character assassination… kya nahi ho raha hai?”
Abhishek's sister also took a dig at Amaal Mallik, a well-known music composer, and wrote, "Gaane pyaar wale aur Dil mein itni nafrat?" She called out Kunickaa Sadanand, who had made many personal digs at Abhishek and his upbringing. Ekta wrote about the veteran actress:
“You are no one to question Abhishek’s character, dignity, integrity, and upbringing. Shameful behaviour! Stop spreading negative and false narratives about his dignified and respectful boy."
People have been noticing that Kunickaa Sadanand and Amaal Mallik speak out against Abhishek and even make personal digs at him, even though discussing a contestant's personal life is frowned upon in the show. Both the housemates have bashed Abhishek for his behaviour and even passed remarks about his upbringing. In an earlier episode, Kunickaa's personal attack on Abhishek had angered many Bigg Boss 19 viewers. The actress had said:
"Koi bhi decent family agar ye show dekh raha hoga, aur apni ladki byahna chahega toh Bajaj ko definately nahi dega apni ladki, definately nahi dega."
Amaal Mallik, on the other hand, has made comments against Abhishek Bajaj that have been viewed as highly problematic and misogynistic by viewers. The music composer said to Abhishek while they were fighting over food that he should go home and wear bangles and a bindi. As per an ETimes report, Amaal also called Abhishek a homophobic slur. With these personal attacks on Abhishek mounting, many fans have started to side with the actor and called out the other housemates for targeting him.
