Travis proposed to Taylor with a massive cushion-cut diamond ring, which was not prepared by any brand but reportedly by an independent business owner, Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewellery. Several jewellery designers claimed that the ring had a budget of 500,000 dollars, while others mentioned that it could have a budget of 3.5 to 5 million dollars, given that the centre diamond was between 7 and 20 carats.
Travis's father, Ed Kelce, revealed that his son asked about a place where he could propose to his lady love, and he suggested that the NFL star should do it in a place that would be significant for both of them. He also revealed that Swift and Travis called their parents and close friends soon after they exchanged rings.
