When Abhinav Kashyap Blamed Salman Khan For His Divorce And Denied Dating His Daughter's Friend

Popular filmmaker, Abhinav Kashyap's career in the film industry is filled with lots of controversies and a major fight with the Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan and his family. The filmmaker, whose first film as a director was Dabangg, which reignited Salman's career, is still regarded as one of the best films of recent times. Despite such a gigantic success, Abhinav Kashyap is barely seen in the industry. After Dabangg, he had worked with Ranbir Kapoor in his second directorial. Besharam, which was a massive flop at the box office.

Abhinav Kashyap has worked as a writer in several iconic television shows and films like Ssshhhh...Koi Hai, Manorama Six Feet Under, 13B, Gabbar Singh, and many more. However, the controversial rift between Salman Khan and Abhinav is often pinpointed as one of the biggest factors for the end of the latter's career in the film industry. Even after so many years of that rift, many people are still unaware of it. While some reports suggest that it was Abhinav himself, who had destroyed his marriage with Chatura Rao, many rumours speculate that he was in a relationship with his daughter's friend and actress, Pallavi Sharda. Before we dive into the pond of controversies, here's a quick insight about the main man, Abhinav Kashyap's biography!

Abhinav Kashyap accused Salman Khan of destroying his career

The audience's favourite, Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise, had sparked a major debate in Bollywood about the existence of nepotism inside the film industry. The controversial debate over nepotism had divided the industry into two parts, while the audience was mostly in support of the movement to end nepotism in B-town. Amid this huge debate, Abhinav Kashyap had allegedly accused Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Salim Khan of reportedly bullying him.

The director had stated that because of nepotism and favouritism in the film industry, he was not given the opportunity to direct Dabangg 2. Reflecting on how Arbaaz and Sohail had allegedly warned people of not working with him, Abhinav had penned a long note on Facebook in which he had recalled the same, and it could be read as:

"My experience is no different. I have experienced exploitation and bullying first hand. Arbaaz Khan on Dabangg and ever since. So here is my story 10 years after Dabangg. The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is because Arbaaz Khan in collusion with Sohail Khan and family was trying to take control of my career by bullying me. Arbaaz Khan sabotaged my second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films that I was signed up with by personally calling their head Mr. Raj Mehta and threatening him with dire consequences if they made a film with me."

During the shooting of the film, reports were rife that Pallavi and Abhinav were spending more time with each other and had also developed a bond with one another.
