According to a report in the Us Weekly, Grammy-winner, Adele and her husband, Simon Konecki have been officially granted divorce by the court after nearly two years of their separation. The ex-couple had filed a judgement packet last month with the court, and now finally, a judge has signed off on the settlement and announced them divorced legally to the world on March 4, 2021. Since the couple had announced their separation, both Adele and Simon have transformed from lovers to friends and a glimpse of which we had witnessed in their judgment packet. It was stated that the ex-couple wants to determine the community debts and property through mediation. Talking about their son, Angelo's custody, the couple had filed for a joint-one in the initial stages, but still, no concrete news about the final decision has been reported.
For the unversed, Simon Konecki is a charity entrepreneur, and the two had started dating back in 2011 and had welcomed their first son, Angelo James, on October 19, 2012, and were living one of the best phases of their respective lives. The couple's secret marriage reports had surfaced all over the internet in 2017, and Adele had confirmed them when she had referred her Simon as "my husband" in her award acceptance speech at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards for Album of the Year. In 2019, a new issue of Us Weekly reported that a source had stated that both Adele and Simon Konecki had tried their best to make their relationship work but couldn't and are disappointed. However, the two are motivated enough and are leading a healthy friendship after their break-up. A source had quoted by saying, "They broke up about eight or nine months ago (around January 2019). Their relationship evolved, and they became more like friends than lovers. They realized the romantic love was no longer there. They're disappointed, but it just didn't work out." Fast forward to today, there are also reports in media that Adele is romantically involved with British rapper, Skepta.
