Best known for songs like Kabhi To Nazar Milao, Lift Karaa De, Tera Chehra, Tu Sirf Mera Mehboob and many more, the 49-year-old singer is a recipient of the Padma Shri and is known across the globe for his soulful music. While his professional life has always seen the highs, his personal life was quite opposite. It was after three failed marriages that Adnan had found love at the age of 39 in Roya Faryabi and the duo had gotten married on January 29, 2010. After seven years of married life, the beautiful couple had become proud parents to a baby girl, whom they have named, Medina.
On January 29, 2021, Adnan Sami and Roya Sami Khan celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary and the doting husband penned a heartmelting wish for his ladylove. Adnan took to his IG handle and shared some unseen pictures from his archives and wrote, “My dearest darling Roya, It’s been 11 incredible years that we have been walking together, hand in hand in a remarkably eventful journey. This journey of life has shown us all kinds of moments but the most important thing is that we confronted every single moment with love for each other, togetherness & above all- Faith!”
He further shared that he could never express what her presence in his life means to him and continued, “The exquisitely beautiful testament to our love is the blessed angel in our life ‘Medina’ jaan for which I am eternally grateful to Almighty God above & on earth, I am ever grateful to you! I can never express in words what your presence in my life means to me. You have been a rock-solid pillar of strength with an infinite amount of patience to deal with a person like me. I love you more than you will ever know! Happy Anniversary my love!”
On the occasion of their 11th anniversary, Adnan also shared the song he penned for Roya. Sharing the video of the same on his IG handle, Adnan wrote, ““ROYA” The song I wrote for my beloved wife entitled after her name “ROYA”. A few hours back, Adnan shared glimpses of the anniversary celebrations with Roya and their daughter, Medina. Sharing how they could celebrate with only one cake when Medina too wanted to have her own cake, Adnan wrote, “How could we celebrate our anniversary with only one cake? Medina jaan HAS to have her cake too!! In fact, her cake is the most important one!! And we love that!!”
On September 16, 2020, Roya had turned a year older and her loving hubby, Adnan had shared a beautiful wish for her. He had taken to his IG handle and had shared a lovely collage which consisted of pictures of their beautiful moments. Along with the collage, Adnan had written, “My dearest ‘Soulmate’ Roya Jaan & Medina’s dearest Mommy Jaan, The world has come full circle yet again to where this life began for you on this blessed day... My world had a new beginning when God brought you into my world; thereafter my world was you! Now I have my own ‘Universe’ within my existence with you & Medina... You are the most incredible soul mate for which I am blessed & you are an incredible mother for which Medina jaan is blessed. Medina jaan joins me in wishing you a very Happy Birthday!
