Alia Bhatt Talks About Working With BF Ranbir Kapoor In Brahmastra, Says 'His Eyes Are So Honest'

She has been extremely infatuated to him ever since she was a teen and had admitted to often drooling about his pictures! Nation’s sensation, Alia Bhatt has been making all the correct decisions for herself, both in her personal and professional life. Soaring high and grabbing awards for films like Raazi, standing out in a multi-starrer like Kalank, and making our jaws drop with her terrific acting in films like Dear Zindagi and Highway, Alia Bhatt, you have a long-long way to go! Alia Bhatt, since the very beginning of her career, had expressed her desire to work with her crush, Ranbir Kapoor. Little did she know, that the film's set would play the Cupid between this duo. Though their first film together, Brahmastra is slated for a December 20, 2019, release, we totally can’t wait to watch the first-ever camaraderie between Alia and Ranbir on-screen. Apart from the film itself, we are extremely excited to watch the film’s promotions, wherein Mr Kapoor and his ‘Future Mrs Kapoor’ would talk about their first film together! What a sight it would be!

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

Kalank promotions are keeping Alia Bhatt busy these days and apart from her grace in Ghar More Pardesiya, media has already discussed a large chunk of her experience upon working with her beau, Ranbir Kapoor. In a recent interview with The Times of India, Alia shared about noticing honesty for his work, in Ranbir Kapoor’s eyes! Yes, she shared, “I have always looked forward to working with Ranbir because I have always admired his work. He is a complete actor. He is so honest; his eyes are so honest that you cannot give a dishonest performance or a false take if you are working with him. Whatever you see of Ranbir on camera, you see none of it off camera. There is no process. He just comes and unleashes himself on camera. There’s an extreme honesty to his performance.”

We got to see glimpses of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s PDA moments at the Zee Cine Awards and Filmfare Awards, more so the latter, when while bagging the black lady for her terrific performance in Meghna Gulzar’s, Raazi, Alia had blurted out a big, full of love, “I Love You” for her beau, Ranbir during the ‘thank you’ speech. Further talking about the same in the same interview, the Gully Boy actress had stated, “What connects Ranbir and I is for me to understand. What I did at that moment of thanking him was purely out of gratitude, and honesty, and it was all heart. Why I feel what I feel is very personal and I don’t think it can be discussed in public domain. This is the first time that I am talking about anything like this and I would like to keep it sacred and simple. Discussing why, why not, how.. gives it unnecessary attention, which could go either way. So, I might as well leave it aside.” (Also Read: Nihaar Pandya Goes Out On A Lunch Date With 'Saalis' Shakti Mohan And Mukti Mohan, Video Inside)

When Alia Bhatt was 15, she was screen tested for a movie, Balika Vadhu, with Ranbir Kapoor. The Student Of The Year actress was asked by Filmfare about what she likes and dislikes about Ranbir Kapoor. To this, Alia had replied, “I’ve gotten to know him in the last couple of months since we began work on Brahmastra. I’ve interacted a lot with him personally. But what I genuinely love about him is that he’s all heart. He’s a very very pure and simple person. There’s no fuss and that same simplicity translates in him as an actor as well. That’s why you can always see through him and see into his eyes. That’s why he’s got that effect on you. He’s simple. He’s not trying to emote or express. Ya, that’s what I like most about Mr Ranbir Kapoor. What I do not like about him? I don’t dislike anything about him as of now.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

26-year-old Alia Bhatt has already shared screen space with the who’s who of the tinsel town. Having worked with beau, Ranbir Kapoor and his ex, Deepika Padukone’s now present, Ranveer Singh, Alia had drawn a beautiful comparison about working with the both of them and had shared in a Filmfare interview, “They’re both different as actors. When Ranveer is excited, it’s visible. When his preparation is on, you’re aware of his focus, his energy… You can see he’s getting into his shot. But with Ranbir, I wouldn’t know what he’s thinking. He could be thinking of butter chicken yet he’d be giving a shot. That’s the way he is. I don’t know about technique. But his process is more visible. I don’t think Ranbir has a process. He’s just gifted, he just comes and does. There’s no thought. But both are ‘chill’ on the set."

Alia Bhatt also revealed the best advice she has ever received from her equally superstar beau, Ranbir Kapoor, “I stress about things that are not in my control. I’m an over thinker. I get anxious. There was a period when I was working hard and I was stressed. Ranbir told me if you’re working hard, you need not worry about anything else. Do the best you can and just let everything else be. That helped me. I still stress but it’s easier for me to now let it be. The maximum I can do is put in my 100 per cent. I don’t need to worry about the results.” (Must Read: Irrfan Khan's Wife, Sutapa Sikdar Pens Down A 'Tumour Recovery' Post For Her 'Warrior' Husband)
