Tollywood’s heartthrob, Allu Arjun is going through all these emotions as his cousin and actress, Niharika Konidela is engaged to her beau, Chaitanya. Niharika Konidela, who had made her movie debut with Telugu film, Oka Manasu in 2016 is the daughter of actor producer, Nagendra Babu. Before joining films, Niharika was an anchor on Telugu channel and had hosted many popular shows. Apart from acting, Niharika also owns a production company named Pink Elephant Pictures. Actor, Chiranjeevi is Niharika’s uncle and actors, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are her cousins.
On August 14, 2020, Allu Arjun took to his IG handle and shared a beautiful picture of Niharika Konidela and her fiancé, Chaitanya Jonnalagadda. The lovely couple twinned in purple, Niharika looked gorgeous in a royal blue lehenga and she teamed it with a purple dupatta. On the other hand, Chaitanya complemented his fiancée in a purple kurta and royal blue pyjama. Along with the picture, Allu Arjun wrote, “Congratulations to my baby sister @niharikakonidela and my new brother in law @chaitanya_jv on their engagement. Wishing you guys all the happiness in the world in days to come.” He also shared a family picture and one with his ladylove, Sneha Reddy, which he captioned as “One for Love.”
Niharika’s cousin and actor, Ram Charan also took to his IG handle and shared a beautiful picture of his baby sister with Chaitanya from the ceremony. In the picture, Ram Charan posed with his wife, Upasana Kamineni and the newly engaged couple. Along with the picture, he wrote, “@niharikakonidela papa... the best choice u have made!! Niharika’s beau, Chaitanya, who is an alumnus of BITS Pilani and works as a Business Strategist in a leading MNC in Hyderabad is the son of Guntur’s Inspector General of Police (IG), J Prabhakar Rao. In an interview with The Times of India, Niharika had talked about the love of her life and had stated, “Yes, I have found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. We are not engaged officially yet and my social media post was to just officially announce that I’m taken. Naturally, I’m thrilled right now.”
On Chaitanya’s birthday (July 26, 2020), Niharika had shared an adorable birthday note for him. She had taken to her IG handle and had shared pictures with her beau and had written, “A smile that’ll light up the whole room, and hugs that feel like home. You are my happy place chay. Here’s to the first of many! You deserve the best of everything! Happy birthday, love. @chaitanya_jv.”
Niharika is quite close to her cousins, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan. On Allu Arjun’s birthday, i.e., April 8, 2020, she had shared two pictures with her brother and had written, “Happiest birthday Bunny annaaa!! Have a great great day! The poster looks amazing!! Meet you soon!!” And on March 27, 2020, when Ram Charan had turned a year older, the doting sister had shared a cute selfie with a note, “Happiest birthday to one of the sweetest brothers ever! Thank you for being such a huge supporter! You deserve the best of the best! May this year be a year filled with happiness, laughter, love and success! Love you loads Charan Anna!
