As per rumours, Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya's relationship is at the edge. There is no official statement on whether they are thinking of divorce, but the rumours have been doing rounds on the internet. The actors haven't responded to the rumours yet. But, their fans are quite worried over the separation news.
The speculations of their separation started to brew when Samantha dropped her surname 'Akkineni' from all of her social media platforms and changed to 'S'. She didn't even attend her father-in-law, Nagarjuna's birthday bash. But when she was asked about the same in an interview, she had said, “I will respond to any controversy or a troll only when I want to talk about it, but not when people ask me." She had also added, "I don’t want to react to any of those things. I don’t like conflicts. Like how anyone is entitled to their own opinion of things, even I’m entitled to mine.”

But, the recent circumstances are pointing at something else. A video clip from one of the episodes of Samantha's chat show, Sam Jam, where Naga Chaitanya had appeared as a guest, has been doing rounds on the internet. And the fans couldn't help but gush over the power couple's strong chemistry. They had played 'How well do we know each other' challenge, where they had to answer a few questions at the same time without giving much thought. And the couple amazed their fans with their bang-on answers. Watch the video here!
From answering the Akkineni family's favourite vacation destination to Samantha's preferred cuisine to naming a Samantha starrer film, the couple had nailed the challenge. A few days back, the duo had exchanged tweets, amidst all of the separation reports, and that was like a ray of hope, hinting that there might have been a chance of reconciliation. But when Samantha mentioned Sai Pallavi specifically in the tweet, it raised a few eyebrows as well.

Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's film Love Story trailer has been released, and Samantha, sharing the trailer on her Twitter account, had praised the team. She wrote, "Winner. All the very best to the team,” mentioning, Sai Pallavi. On September 14, after a day of Samantha's tweet, Chaitanya retweeted that and had written, "Thanks Sam".
A close source to Naga Chaitanya had revealed to Spotboye the situation. The source had said, "Naga is so loving, so much so that when he had to be rude to his wife on-screen in the film Majili, Naga found it very hard to look into his wife’s eyes with hatred for the camera. Now when he is asked to mend bridges with Samantha, he doesn’t know where to start.” The source further had added, "Naga has never cheated on his wife. He has been a loving husband ever since he got married to Samantha in 2017." And, that he wants to fix things with her.

On the work front, both of them are celebrated actors in the South film industry, and they have stepped into Bollywood as well. Samantha will next be seen in Shakuntalam and Naga Chaitanya will be debuting in Bollywood with Laal Singh Chaddha.
