It’s raining weddings in the B-town. While the entire nation is abuzz with Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding functions, there is another wedding in making which is going to rock the year 2018. In India, Bollywood celebs, cricketers, businessmen and politicians make the biggest stars. And any wedding in their families turns out to be national news. And one such wedding is Isha Ambani’s, the daughter of India’s business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani.
According to reports, Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani will tie the nuptial knot with billionaire Ajay Piramal and wife Swati Piramal’s son, Anand Piramal in December this year. Apparently, Isha Ambani got engaged to Anand Piramal during the weekend at Mahabaleshwar. (You May Like: Sonam Kapoor's First Look From Her Mehendi Ceremony, Glowing In Pastel Pink Lehenga)
Anand and Isha are long-time friends, and their families have a history of almost 40 years of friendship. And if reports are to be believed, Anand proposed Isha in a temple at Mahabaleshwar. Post the proposal, the Ambanis and Piramals celebrated the occasion with close family members, including Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani.
For those who do not know, Isha Ambani (26) is the twin sister of Akash Ambani and is currently on the boards of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail. Isha has graduated from Yale University in psychology and South Asian studies. She will be completing her Master in Business Administration programme from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford by June.
Anand (33), on the other hand, is the executive director of the Piramal Group and is the founder of its real estate business, Piramal Realty. He has studied at the University of Pennsylvania, and also holds an MBA from Harvard University.
On the other hand, Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son and Isha’s twin brother, Akash Ambani earlier got engaged to diamantaire Russell Mehta’s daughter, Shloka Mehta.
As per media reports, now that Isha and Akash both are engaged, there are talks that both their weddings could take place on the same day.
