Veteran actor, Anil Kapoor is known as the evergreen actor in Bollywood and is simply the epitome of ageless beauty. Currently, he is on cloud nine as his daughter, Sonam Kapoor has given birth to a baby boy, and he has been enjoying the new phase of being a grandfather. However, as he went on a morning walk with one of his closest friends from the industry, Anupam Kher, the duo started reminiscing about the old days.
Earlier, on September 12, 2022, the host of the popular show, Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar posted a promo featuring Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan as they would be seen in the upcoming episode. At the beginning of teh video, Karan was seen asking Anil what makes him feel younger. To this, Anil says, “Sex sex sex”. Looking stunned by the actor’s response, Varun was left in splits. Soon, Anil was heard saying, “This is all scripted”. Karan had captioned the promo as:
“It doesn’t get younger & cooler than this on the Koffee couch - this duo will create a riot in this episode!!!”

On September 14, 2022, Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher went on a morning walk together. Taking to his IG handle, Anupam Kher shared a video of the duo conversing while standing in front of Yash Chopra's house. And as the ace director's iconic film, Chandni starring Anupam along with the late actors, Rishi Kapoor, Sridevi and Vinod Khanna completed 33 years, the duo got nostalgic about remembering the old days. In the video, the two prominent actors were seen discussing their struggling days in the industry and how the late director, Yash Chopra had played a vital role in their lives. Check out the video:
As soon as Anupam Kher shared the video, Anil Kapoor too took to his Twitter handle and reshared the former's post with a dewy-eyed caption. In his caption, Anil mentioned that he still now regrets not doing the film, Chandni which the ace director had offered him. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Anil Kapoor had revealed his feelings about being a new grandfather. Elaborating more on it, the actor talked about the little member's presence in his family and had shared:
"Nothing can be better than this feeling. I would like to say my dialogue – 'I feel on top of the world'. I am busy wrapping up my assignments. There's Sunita (his wife), Sonam and Anand, who are looking after the baby. I am always there by his side. It is great to see him every day. He's so small right now, let him grow up a bit."
For the unversed, Chandni had won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment in the 37th National Film Awards along with Best Director (Yash Chopra), Best Actress (Sridevi), Best Actor (Rishi Kapoor), Best Supporting Actor (Vinod Khanna) amongst many more.
