Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had started their forever journey on December 11, 2017. Their life had got better with the birth of their little angel, Vamika. The baby girl is 10 months old but her parents are ensuring privacy around her. They haven’t revealed her face yet and not much is out there about Vamika in public. All we got are little glimpses of Vamika, and this time, she stole our hearts with her cute pigtails.
For the unversed, on February 1, 2021, Anushka Sharma had posted the first-ever family picture with their then-newborn daughter, introducing her to the world. Announcing her daughter’s name, Anushka had written:
“We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy.”

Early this morning, Virat Kohli along with team India was spotted at the airport as they flew to South Africa. Virat was accompanied by his wife, Anushka Sharma and their daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli. As the family was at the airport, the paps captured them and Virat was quick enough to request them to not click his daughter’s pictures. However, we still got some glimpses of Vamika, clung onto her mommy, and her two pigtails were too cute to be missed. In the videos, Virat can be heard requesting the paps saying, “Baby Ka Mat Lena”, and the paps obliged him.
On June 3, 2021, we had got the first clear picture of Vamika as she was spotted in Anushka Sharma's arms at the airport. Virat Kohli held the luggage as they had got down from the bus at the airport and Vamika was sleeping in Anushka's arms. Vamika, who was in a baby carrier, had looked adorable in a light-pink coloured onesie and Anushka had opted for an all-black comfy outfit. The paparazzi had managed to get the first clear picture of Vamika, though Anushka held her tightly to guard her against the flashlights. Looking at the first clear picture of Vamika, we could see her resemblance with her daddy, Virat.

Virat and Anushka have only posted glimpses of their little one. Once, Virat had hosted an 'Ask Me Anything' session, and a follower had asked him the meaning of Vamika's name and a glimpse of the little one. To which, Virat had replied:
"Vamika is another name for goddess Durga. No, we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice."
