Until now, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have only showered each other with cryptic social media comments such as ‘hmmm’ and various emojis, but for the first time, Arjun and Malaika showcased their love for each other openly in front of the camera. Arjun’s latest film, India’s Most Wanted is largely awaited by all and yesterday (May 23, 2019), a special screening for all Bollywood stars was arranged. And that is how we saw some major half-sibling bond of Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. While their fun-filled activities surely made us go all ‘awww’, but it was something else too that grabbed all our attention.
Like any doting girlfriend, Malaika Arora was spotted cheering for beau, Arjun Kapoor, who had kept it cool in casuals for the screening. Malaika was donned in a black and white tank top, which had a deep-cut back with her hair let loose and flared jeans. Arjun, on the other hand, looked uber cool in a black Gucci t-shirt, which he teamed with blue jeans and a complementing black cap. For the first time ever, Arjun and Malaika posed together as a couple, hand-in-hand, as they smiled for the camera. Arjun Kapoor is keeping very busy nowadays, all thanks to the promotions of his just-released film, India’s Most Wanted and he often finds himself answering one common question, ‘when is one of the most eligible bachelors of the Tinseltown getting married?’ In a latest interview with Zoom, Arjun drew a surprising comparison between Taimur Ali Khan and his wedding to Malaika Arora. He had shared, “You guys are supposed to do what your editors want you to do. I don't think anybody is dying to know every single day but what happens is there are speculations because I guess you get clicks. You get conversations and chatters. I mean if Taimur does that to people then I think my marriage speculation is not such a big deal. But, in all fairness, I think the media's been respectful, they've given me the space to come out and be comfortable. So, I will not hide anything beyond. Arjun Kapoor had once shared about his wedding with Malaika Arora, “I have no qualms about saying that I am not getting married. People go bald after getting married.” He had further added, “Marriage is definitely not going to happen now. I’m happy on both, the personal and professional fronts. I have always been open. Be assured that I will not shock you all. If there is something to be spoken about, I will inform you all and make you a part of it.”
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Arjun Kapoor had shared about his wedding plans with Malaika Arora and in the process, he indirectly confirmed dating her! Arjun was quoted as saying, “I’ve had a pretty roller coaster life since my childhood. I do not want to jump the gun, I want to take things one step at a time but, thank you for your wishes, thank you for your concern. Aur, mai jabhi bhi shaadi karunga, agar karunga, toh sabko bataunga. Yeh koi chupane wali cheez toh nai hai.”
Arjun Kapoor was once asked about how he feels when people speculate about his wedding which is too personal and sensitive, he had shared, “The speculative nature of our profession will always remain. Which is always gonna be there, which I think is a small price to pay as actors. But I think it has more to do with the fact that all my peers are getting married. So it becomes part of Sab ki ho rahi hai, toh iski bhi ho jayegi (Everyone is getting married, he too will get married). But, I am 33 I think I have little time before I take that plunge.
