Be it an unprepared or a prepared pregnancy, the happiness of holding your little one in your arm, the one who holds your one finger with his/her entire hand, giving out a sleepy gummy smirk is an expression which no words in the world can suffice! An over-the-moon newbie daddy and mommy, Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades are currently going through this phase. Arjun Rampal had just started to introduce his new ladylove, South African supermodel and actress, Gabriella Demetriades with all his fans when his April 23, 2019 post had surprised all. ‘Arjun Rampal is all set to embrace fatherhood once again in his life', it meant. Sharing an adorable picture of himself and his girlfriend, Gabriella, the Rock On! actor had written, “Blessed to have you and start all over again... thank you baby for this baby". Gabriella too had posted the same picture and had written, "Grateful for you two can’t wait to meet you." Take a look at the picture below:
On July 17, 2019, Gabrielle Demetriades was admitted to the hospital and Arjun Rampal, along with his daughters, Myra Rampal and Mahikaa Rampal, had come down for a visit. And just a day after, it was on July 18, 2019, when Arjun and Gabriella had become proud parents to a baby boy. Renowned filmmaker, JP Dutta's daughter, Nidhi Dutta had made the announcement on Twitter with a picture, as she posed with the super-happy father. In a congratulatory post for the newbie parents, Nidhi had tweeted, "Congratulations @rampalarjun on the arrival of your bundle of joy! God bless!"
When our favourite stars welcome a new munchkin in their lives, before we even yearn to see how adorably cute they are, we all long to know his/her name. Same is the case with Arjun Rampal’s newborn son. While we were pondering over what would be the name of this little star kid, Gabriella shared with the Mid-Day if they have yet thought of a name for their little one. She texted them saying, “Not yet. Still thinking.” About Gabriella’s delivery, a source had shared with the Mumbai Mirror, “Gabriella’s parents were there at the hospital Thursday morning, they left a little after noon, escorted by Arjun. His daughters were also by their father’s side the entire day. Arjun Rampal’s daughters from his first wife, Mehr Jesia, Mahikaa and Myra have been constant pillars of strength for their father. In fact, just a while back, paparazzi snapped Arjun with his daughters, coming out of the hospital post paying Gabriella a visit. Here’s the picture:
Coming back to Gabriella’s pregnancy, as soon as Arjun Rampal had shared the picture with his girlfriend, tonnes of congratulatory messages from fans and his friends from the industry had started to pour in. This made us wonder if his estranged wife, Mehr Jesia and his two beautiful teenage daughters, Mahikaa and Myra knew about the same. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Mehr had taken the news of her ex-hubby, Arjun embracing fatherhood again in a positive stride. The report had stated, “The couple did their best to keep the pregnancy under wraps for the last six months. It turns out that several of their friends were kept in the dark too, including Mehr Jesia, Rampal’s wife of 20 years and mum to their two daughters, Mahikaa, 17, and Myra, 13.”
The report had further added, “Mehr has in fact taken the news rather sportingly. Her friends say that even though they haven’t filed for divorce yet, Mehr has come to terms with the fact that Rampal has moved on personally.” A friend close to Mehr had shared with the same tabloid, “They are still working out the financial terms of the separation. Mehr is a wonderful mother and wants to do what works best for her children.”
Arjun Rampal, during an interview with the Hindustan Times, had shared that his last five years had almost been like hell. The 46-year-old star was quoted as saying, “It’s been sheer hell for the last five years but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, doesn’t it?” Arjun had also shared how he met Gabriella for the first time. He replied to a media portal on being asked about the same, “Ah, that’s a question to ask. We met through common friends. So, what can I say? That she stalked me? Wishful thinking that, buddy! It’s only been a year since we started dating and here we are. For keeps. And I must add that it was of prime importance that my daughters should accept her as part of the family. Arjun Rampal, in an interview, had once talked about fatherhood. The Ra.One actor had said, “I used to think I’d be that father who’ll sit with a shotgun at the doorstep. But both of them are extremely responsible and very dignified in the way they conduct themselves. I’m very proud of them.” He had added, “As a father, all I can do is hope that nobody breaks their heart.”
