The duo has kickstarted the promotions for their upcoming film, Brahmastra, and are winning our hearts with their cute banter.
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt had admitted that she had a crush on Ranbir on the celebrity chat show, Koffee with Karan. During her stint on the show, she had accepted that she had always wanted to marry Ranbir and that's when the almighty had conspired to fulfil her dream. Therefore, Alia and Ranbir had begun their relationship during the shoot of their first film together, Brahmastra.

Filmmaker, Ayan Mukerji's highly-anticipated film, Brahmastra is special for Ranbir-Alia's fans as the couple will be seen together on the silver screens for the very first time. A few days back, the cast attended the poster launch event in Hyderabad, where Ayan revealed how Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's outing as a couple ruined his film. Ayan shared that he never wanted anyone to see Ranbir and Alia as a couple before the release of his film. In his words:
"To be honest, when we started our film, I thought this is the best casting- Ranbir and Alia, powerhouses. It was just too good. Then Ranbir and Alia became very good friends, then very very very good friends in life, then more than friends. So then, I didn't want the whole world to see them for these 4 years. I didn't want anyone to see them till my film had not come out. So, Lots of things haven’t happened in their lives because every time they went out together, I would be sitting at the back saying 'you all are ruining my film. Please don't go anywhere.' It feels good now that we can share them."
On December 15, 2021, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and director, Ayan Mukerji were spotted at an event in Delhi for the launch of their movie, Brahmastra's poster. During the event, one fan had asked Ranbir when he is planning to get married to Alia or someone else. Replying to the fan's question, Ranbir had given a witty reply and had said:
“Well, haven’t we seen a lot of people getting married in the last one year? I think we should be happy with that. Humari kab hogi.''
While Ranbir was answering the fan's question, Alia Bhatt could be seen blushing. However, when Ranbir had asked, 'Humari kab hogi', she was astonished and had asked him, ''Why are you asking me?” Then, Ranbir had pointed to Ayan Mukerji and had said, ''I am asking him, humari kab hogi?'' The director had then replied to his friend:
"Aaj ke liye ek hi date kaafi hai. Brahmastra ki release date. Let’s wait.”

In another video that had been trending on the internet, we had seen Ranbir Kapoor pulling his ladylove, Alia Bhatt's leg. The actor had asked her the reason behind people asking her about the alphabet 'R'. He had also mocked her and asked her what is her relationship with 'R' and why people keep calling RR. After this, Alia was left speechless and blushing.
On December 9, 2021, Alia Bhatt was spotted by the paps at the promotional event of the trailer launch of her upcoming film, RRR. During the interaction with media persons, when one of the reporters had asked Alia if the alphabet 'R' is like a lucky factor for her, Alia couldn't help but blush. The actress had replied, "I am stumped. Mere paas jawaab nahi hai." To which, the reporters had started hooting. However, Alia had further continued her answer and had tried to make a comeback, as she had given a witty reply. She had said:
"I am trying to be intelligent... trying to be intelligent. Trying to have a good answer..(took a pause) umm... Ji... 'R' is a lovely alphabet and so is 'A'."
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's first film together, Brahmastra will release on September 9, 2022.
