On September 10, 2020, Bharat Sahni took to his Instagram handle and kick-started his gorgeous wife, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni's birthday week countdown with a perfect family portrait. In the picture, we can see a lot of members of the Kapoor clan, from Randhir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor to Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra Jain, the frame speaks volumes about Kapoor's family concrete bond. Along with this picture, Bharat wrote a few lines in the caption, and it can be read as "Thank you Tashu. The ever-gorgeous lady, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni will celebrate her birthday on September 15, 2020, and no wonder her whole family is gearing up with their surprises for her special day. Last year, Bharat had shown his love for his designer wife, a day before her birthday on September 14, 2019, with a collage of her and their daughter, Samara Sahni. Along with it, he had written, "Happy happy to my Baby Mama and partner in crime. I truly lucked out! Thank u for being you!" For the uninitiated, Riddhima was just twenty-five when she had gotten married to the man of her dreams, Bharat on January 25, 2006. In an interview with a leading media portal, a few years ago, the designer had talked about marriage, and had said, "Marriage is a two-way street. You just can't keep expecting from your partner and your partner can't keep expecting from you. There's a lot of giving and take, but it's more important to be friends. My husband and I started with a friendship that developed into a relationship, and that led to marriage. And now even though we are married, we are very good friends."
In an interview with the DNA, Riddhima's mother, Neetu ji had talked about her daughter's love story, and had shared, "She met Bharat Sahni, who lives in Delhi while studying in London. They knew each other there for three years. After they came back, Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) asked her to give it another year to see if they still felt the same way. They did, and now they're getting married. The loveliest thing about Bharat is that whenever he meets me, he brings me flowers."
