In one of the recent episodes of the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 16, Tina Datta suffered a major emotional breakdown after being informed about the demise of an important family member. The actress was told to come inside the confession room, and when she did, Bigg Boss informed the actress about the death of her pooch, Rani. The confession left the actress in tears, as she was a part of Tina's family for the past 12 years. The Bigg Boss told Tina to come out of the BB house for some time in order to be with her family at this tragic time. The actress was told about the demise of her pooch a few days back, but the actress took some time before making it public.
On November 3, 2022, Tina Datta took to her Instagram handle and shared a heartbreaking video in which she added a lot of pictures and videos of her pooch, Rani. In the video, we can get a closer glimpse at the cross-breed dog which Tina adopted back in 2010. The actress was all alone in Mumbai when she had decided to adopt a dog, and after her family had shifted with her, Rani gelled up perfectly with her other dog, Bruno. The actress used to share snippets from her fun time with her two dogs, Rani and Bruno, time and again on her Instagram handle.

As per the reports, Tina Datta's pooch, Rani had developed cancer cells in her body, and despite a lot of treatment, she was unable to fight against the life-threatening disease. It is an incredible loss for Tina and her family, as she was a part of their family for 12-long-years. Along with the video that she posted on her IG handle, Tina also penned a long note in the caption. In her heartbreaking note, the actress shared how difficult it is for her to deal with such a massive loss while being inside the Bigg Boss house. She penned:
"Rani left this world but leaving behind a lot of love for Tina!!! Rani came into Tina's life in 2010 and has been family. And family never truly goes away, they're with us forever just as Rani, she's with our Tinzi forever. Dealing with this loss while being inside the house won't be easy but we know Tina you are strong.
