In the Tinseltown, it is known to everyone that some love stories fade away with time and others bloom with each passing day. While we have witnessed many celeb couples parting ways or divorcing even after being together for more than two decades or so. On the other hand, we also have a few lovebirds who spread couple goals. One such celebrity duo is childhood lovebirds, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal. Though Natasha is not very media-friendly, she has always made sure to be by Varun’s side as and when needed.
In the current showbiz scenario, it is Varun and Natasha who are grossing high on the strong couple chart of celebrities. Their dinner dates, hand-in-hand outings, a few mushy pictures on social media, etc., have always urged their fans to talk goody-goody about them as a couple. Now, in an interview with In.com, the 63-year-old filmmaker and actor's father, David Dhawan talked about the rumours going around about Varun and Natasha's wedding. Varun’s dad said, "They’ve (media) decided the venue, the month. Abb date bhi wohi decide kar len. So, I can be there on the date decided by them for my son’s wedding." He further added, "On a more serious note, this news is absolutely bogus. No truth in it at all. My son is shooting for Remo D’Souza’s film. Then he starts shooting my film. There is no question of a wedding this year. Earlier, a famous online tabloid had suggested, "The Dhawans are planning a big wedding towards the year-end. Varun and Natasha and the families have decided on a December date for the big day. In all probabilities, it will be a destination marriage. As of now, they are looking at getting the entire contingent to Goa for a beach wedding." The report had further claimed, "Only their closest buddies from the film fraternity will be invited for the Goan shaadi and the lovebirds plan to throw a lavish reception party back in Mumbai for everyone."
And post-that a SpotboyE report had mentioned, “According to our source, the destination is going to be Jodhpur. Both the families are in talks with a couple of palaces in the city, to decide on the final venue. Our source also adds that Varun and Natasha have hired the same wedding planner as Priyanka and Nick, i.e. Motwane Entertainment & Weddings. Of late, Varun had appeared on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show named, Pinch. On the show, during the course of the interaction, Varun was probed to comment on the trolls and crazy female fan following. On the same, he had said, “Everyone knows I have a girlfriend and that I have been in love for a very long time with Natasha. So sometimes when people use that and make up stuff, then that I don't appreciate that, and I feel like that is my thing and I think people should respect.” Further, sharing his wedding plans with ladylove, Natasha, he had remarked, “It’s not happening right now as I am busy with all my releases. When I decide to get married, I will send out a picture.”
Talking about his long-standing hush-hush relationship with Natasha, Varun had once told Filmfare, “I am cool about it. In fact, I've always been cool about it. There's nothing to hide. I just don't want the focus to shift from my career to the relationship. That's why I don't talk much about it. What can one say about spending time with loved ones? I'm not denying anything at all, just that I don't like to discuss it." Further, giving the due credit to Natasha for sticking by his side, Varun had remarked, “I see it (relationship) reaching a good place. She's quite a handful, so full credit to her for sticking by me.
