Divyanka Tripathi Slams A Woman's Tweet On 'No Bindi No Business', Talks About Respecting Choices

Television's bahu, Divyanka Tripathi sure gives the vibes of a damsel, but her strengths were tested when she had participated in the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. The Magar Rani of KKK 11 knows how to roar when needed and we have often seen her take the stand for what’s right. Recently, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya used her voice for the right reason when a woman tweeted her outrageous ideology.

Talking about her personal life, Divyanka Tripathi had met Vivek Dahiya on the sets of their show, Yeh hai Mohabbatein. Starting off as colleagues, they had gradually fallen in love with each other. After exchanging rings in January 2016, Divyanka Tripathi had officially added Dahiya to her name on July 8, 2016, after marrying her soulmate, Vivek Dahiya. Their wedding pictures had gone viral on social media.

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya is known for speaking against the wrongs in society and expressed her disappointment and anger over a hashtag, no bindi no business, on Diwali. It happened that a Twitter user tweeted her opinion on how she won’t buy anything from the brands that have models without a bindi. The tweet can be read as:

“Speaking for myself not buying anything for Deepawali from any brand that shows model without a bindi. #NoBindiNoBusiness.”

Divyanka Slam Woman

This tweet was enough to piss off Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who slammed the woman and the hashtag for questioning a woman’s choice. Sharing that a woman must have the choice to wear whatever they want, Divyanka tweeted:

“No bindi no business? It should be a woman's choice what she wants to wear! Hinduism is about respecting choices! Next you'll want purda-system & then Satipratha back? Why should any culture be measured by women's dressing? I'm further shocked when women propagate such concepts!”

Divyanka Slam

This is not the first time when Divyanka has raised her voice against the wrong. In June 2018, Divyanka had showered love on her husband, Vivek Dahiya. However, a troller had decided to spread hatred wondering why it is only Divyanka posting romantic messages for Vivek. The user had written on Divyanka’s post:

“Sorry if I hurts you.but why did vivek isn’t posting anything related you or liking your post.he hardly likes ur posts and you al-ways shared your happiness her and everytime posted divek pics.why dont he post instead of u.Did he really likes you.its been a month he didn’t shared anything about you.strange.”

To this, Divyanka had slammed the user to measure her and Vivek’s love for each other with these small things. She had replied:

“@glitters01234 just stop talking about such petty things. You think our love can be measured by how we behave on insta? I didn’t post happy birthday for my dad here…so I don’t love him? It’s a message to all asking such silly things… Believe me, we do breather outside TV, FB, Twitter and Insta as well. And please don’t bash Mr/Mrs Glitters… for this. Just understand leave our personal behavior to us….and enjoy this video.”
