Every year, the nation, especially Maharashtra celebrates the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and show as everyone welcomes Lord Ganpati in their homes, wholeheartedly. No stone is left unturned to express devotion towards Lord Ganpati and while every year Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with great joy, this year holds a special significance for the couple. Ekta and Sumeet had welcomed their little bundle of joy, their son, Ved Vyas in June and this year, the newbie parents’ Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations became even more special with their little Ganpati in the house. Due to the pandemic 2020, Ekta Kaul’s family, who lives in Jammu, and Sumeet Vyas’ clan, who are stuck at home, couldn’t visit the couple and meet their newborn grandson. But the wait for the Kaul clan was finally over a few days back as Ekta's parents, sister and nephew had visited to meet the newborn junior Vyas. Sharing an all-smiling picture with the Kaul clan, Ekta had written, "Super mom and Super dad. Blessed with the best! I feel complete… Bring it on life! #bestparents #pillarsister #myboys!!" as the caption. Ved's hearty smile in the picture will cheer you up instantly!
To mark Ganesh Chaturthi 2020, Sumeet Vyas had posted pictures of the idol of Lord Ganpati at their residence and had captioned them as “#HappyGaneshChaturthi May God bless us all with #wisdom and #health above all.” Ekta Kaul posted the glimpses of the first Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations of her little bundle of joy, Ved Vyas with his mamma, nani and maasi. While Ekta had looked graceful in a yellow handwoven chanderi kurta, her little one looked adorable in a maroon kurta. The pandemic has proved to be a blessing in disguise for Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas as the couple had spent the last months of their pregnancy together due to the lockdown. Sumeet, who is busy with his professional commitments, had finally gotten some quality time to spend with his pregnant wife and he had proved to be the best husband as he had left no stone unturned to make her feel comfortable. Things weren't different post the birth of their son too, as the lockdown was extended and the newbie parents, Sumeet and Ekta have been making the most with their little one, Ved. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror post the birth of his firstborn, Sumeet Vyas had revealed why they have named their son, Ved. Narrating the story behind it, Sumeet had said, “Long ago, one of our relatives was having a child and we were discussing names, when Ved came up and stayed with me. I decided if I have a boy, I’ll name him Ved. Since we come from the line of, it makes sense.” Describing the emotions on becoming a father, Sumeet had expressed his ‘unmatched feeling’, “You do all those clichéd things that you once laughed at. Humans are so predictable.” Revealing that it was a normal delivery, Sumeet had continued, "We couldn’t trust a multi-facility hospital at a time like this. It was a normal delivery and both Ekta and Ved are doing fine.”
After teasing their fans with glimpses of their little bundle of joy, Ved Vyas, Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul had finally posted the first picture of their son on their respective IG handles on July 12, 2020. As Ved said hello to the world, Ekta and Sumeet had posted the little one's picture with his mommy. While Sumeet had captioned it, "Mama’s boy... #ved #vedvyas", Ekta had written, "Being a mother isn’t an easy job but it’s definitely the best job one could ever have..
