Bollywood actor, Farhan Akhtar is all set to get married to his longtime girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar. The wedding preparations are done and their wedding festivities have begun with shagun ki mehendi. The couple has been painting the town red with their mushy social media PDAs since 2018. They are often spotted partying together and attending each other's family dinner nights.
For the unversed, Farhan was earlier married to Adhuna in the year 2000. After sixteen years of living together, they had parted ways in 2016. The ex-couple had parted ways on a happy note and had always wished each other the best. They are also co-parenting their daughters, Shakya and Akira. On the other hand, Shibani also shares a warm bond with Farhan's girls.

On February 17, 2022, Farhan and Shibani hosted an intimate mehendi ceremony with their friends and family in attendance. Their home is all decked up for the event. Just a while ago, paparazzi spotted Shibani Dandekar's best friend, Rhea Chakraborty gracing the event. The gorgeousness was seen wearing a yellow-hued lehenga. Check it out:
The shutterbugs also clicked bride-to-be, Shibani Dandekar's sister, Anusha Dandekar. The gorgeous sister of the bride looked pretty in a yellow-hued saree with sheeshpatti.
According to several media reports, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar will be registering their marriage on February 21, 2022, in Mumbai. A source close to the couple had revealed their wedding plans. However, the couple had not confirmed it. A source had shared:
"Wedding was on cards for the two of them, as they have been in love for the longest time now. They have been discussing wedding plans for a while now and have finally decided to take things to the next level. On February 21, their relationship will take a new turn, as they will take the formal vows to be partners for life."

Earlier, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Shibani had talked about her relationship with Farhan. She had said that she is not secretive but doesn't like talking about the man she is dating out loud. She had also said that she didn't want to announce whom she is dating to the world.
