Every religion offers many exciting things, so why should one bind themselves strictly to only one of these! When we broaden our horizon and welcome other cultures and religions, we end up exposing ourselves to a world that offers much more than what we are used to. Genelia D'Souza's brother, Nigel D'Souza and his lady-love, Navneet Kaur are two of the few people who could enjoy the fruits of two different religions, and added a spark to their wedding celebrations. They got hitched on April 15, 2015, and it was a fun-filled wedding extravaganza! Riteish and Genelia simply could not stop dancing in joy.

Nigel is a Catholic and Navneet is a Sikh. What might seem like an impossible match, culminated into a beautiful wedding. Even these two thought that it would be impossible for them to think of a future together. Nigel expresses their situation as:
"What started off like a friendship, turned into a relationship. Then, we thought it will pass. Things were so difficult. Different religions, different people... We are two totally different people, so the cliché 'opposites attract' fits very well in our case."

But, they overcame all these barriers because the opposites were in love with each other. Navneet further explained:
"Our arguments revolved around market; this should be happening, no the stock should go up and I would say that no it will go down."

Nigel and Navneet embraced each other’s religions and the opposite personalities. Finally, their families blessed this union and the couple got hitched in a Christian as well as a Sikh wedding. Their wedding celebrated the customs and colours of both the religions.
