From marrying in a secret ceremony for his sake to tying the knot for the second time in a destination wedding for her wish, this couple has been giving an all-new definition to love. The more we talk about them, the more we fall flat for them as a couple. Every fine adjective is less to describe this couple as they are one of the purest souls in the Indian television industry. The mention is of none other than, the Laagi Tujhse Lagan actress, Mahhi Vij and her husband, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil actor, Jay Bhanushali.
Mahhi and Jay truly make for one of the cutest couples on the block. And the two swept us off our feet when they had announced that they are expecting their first biological baby this year in 2019. From wishing each other on social media on anniversaries and birthdays to their crazy and fun-filled videos, Jay and Mahhi are a complete social media savvy couple. Similarly, to announce the good news of the pregnancy as well, the two had taken to their respective social media handles. While the two had shared the same pictures to announce the news, their captions were quite different. In the picture, we could see their birth years chalked out in front of them as they stand holding each other’s hands, and a pair of baby shoes in front of which, “2019, COMING SOON” was written. While Jay had captioned the post as, “9 months of pain, but a lifetime of gain. 9 months of sickness, but a lifetime of happiness. 9 months of pregnancy, the beginning of our legacy. Jay and Mahhi have been setting examples as a couple all this while, and now, the lovebirds are en route setting parenthood examples. Like a doting husband, Jay has already started pampering his pregnant wifey, Mahhi, as he takes her for a movie date. Recently, Jay and Mahhi were spotted at a theatre, twinning in white t-shirts, while they can be seen indulging in a discussion. How cute of Jay to pamper Mahhi this way! On September 9, 2017, Mahhi had taken to her official Instagram handle to wish the love of her life Jay, on their seventh wedding anniversary (of their first wedding). She had written, "7 years of bringing out the best each other n make each day worth living together.I love u more n more by each passing day @ijaybhanushali thank u for always putting our relationship first yes we managed to stay together thru thick n thin for 7 years baby hopin to spend this lifetime with u.as i welcome my 8th year with you i wish to become more stronger. Thank u for always supporting n respecting my decisions. I love you to the end of whateva. Happiness n much more. On Rajeev Khandelwal’s chat show, Juzzbaat, Jay had opened up about having babies and was quoted as saying, “We have been discussing having babies for a while now, so let us take this forward”. For the ones who have been living under the rocks all this while, Mahhi and Jay are parents to two adopted kids, who happen to be their caretakers’ babies. Commenting on the same, the actress had once stated, “A lot of people keep asking my friends if they are our kids because we feel that they are our kids. We want to give them best in our capabilities. I don’t care what people say they have all the time in the world to talk. They stay with us we have no issues of them being a part of our space. Kids are adorable, Jay and I love them."
Talking about the future of the kids, Mahhi had further gone to add, "We want to educate them and yes in future even if we have our own kids, we will give them same life. We will not differentiate." Sharing if she is a possessive wife, Mahhi had once told an online tabloid, “I am possessive but not an insecure wife. And I think every woman is possessive towards her husband.
