One of the most famous relationships that have made it to the headlines is of veteran actor, Kabir Bedi and late actress, Parveen Babi. It was a scandalous tale of love, which had love, breakup and eternal bond that lived even after the actress' death. Recently, Kabir Bedi recalled his once ladylove, Parveen's funeral day and how the three men she had loved had attended it.
In the lockdown, the actor, Kabir Bedi, had penned an autobiography titled, Stories I Must Tell. In his memoir, Kabi Bedi had opened up about the most beautiful and unconventional woman he had fallen in love with and how he had seen her downfall.

Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Kabir Bedi was questioned about Parveen Babi and how she had changed his life. The actor revealed that she had given him a lot of love. Kabir also talked about the tragedy of Parveen's mental illness. He said:
"Parveen was an extremely sensitive and intelligent woman. She had a great capacity to love. What happened with her was extremely tragic. She gave me enormous love, a sense of togetherness and yet the cloud of her deteriorating mental condition hung over us. The tragedy of her mental illness was unfolding when I was going through my greatest success in Europe, Sandokan. It was a difficult period for me. But at the same time, I thank her for the many things she gave me, including love."
Kabir also talked about Parveen's funeral, which was attended by all the three men (Danny Denzongpa, Mahesh Bhatt, Kabir Bedi), she had loved. The actor had said that she was an important person in their lives and she deserved that respect. He shared:
"Parveen deserved that respect. Well, we shared her life and she shared ours. At the heart of it, we deeply cared for her though we couldn’t prevent her breakdown."

In his memoir, Kabir Bedi had written that Parveen had come into his life and filled the void caused by his unhappy marriage with Protima. He recalled her as a ravishingly beautiful actress with fair skin, long black hair, and dark, mesmerising eyes.
Well, Kabir Bedi's love affair with Parveen Babi was, is and will always be the scandalous love affair of Bollywood!
