On February 1, 2021, Kangna Ranaut took to her Twitter handle and posted a throwback picture posing with her friend. In the caption, she revealed how the picture was taken from the first camera she had bought as a child after saving up money. Her caption could be read as "As a kid I collected money and bought a still camera, one of those photo sessions my friend is visibly embarrassed, Sharma uncle the local photographer used to send the reel of my camera to Chandigarh for washing and I remember waiting anxiously for weeks."
This is not the first time Kangana has shared interesting anecdotes from her childhood. On September 11, 2020, the actress had taken to her Twitter handle and had shared an unseen childhood photo. In the picture, little Kangana could be seen in her school uniform, posing with her school friend. Along with it, Kangana had shared a strong message about the battle between mind and heart. On August 20, 2020, Kangana had shared an unseen throwback family picture from the time when she was a kid, and her brothers were toddlers. The picture had featured little Kangana standing beside her sister, Rangoli and her brothers in attendance beside her. She had written in the caption about when was this picture taken. Her caption could be read as "This picture was clicked in January 1998 at my parents house in Mandi, two kids standing beside me are my brothers Aksht and Karan and both r getting married now in November, never saw such excitement in our family, yet I wonder where did we loose all those years #throwback."
On December 7, 2020, Kangana had penned a note on her IG handle on how even as a child, she didn't have many friends and preferred her own company over someone else's. Sharing a cute childhood picture, she had written, "As a child I don’t remember playing with children, even then my favourite thing to do was to make fancy gowns, and clothes for my dolls and I loved to contemplate for hours on end, hence the deep thoughtful mature eyes, unfortunately some of us are born old and I am one of those."
