On December 10, 2019, Kapil Sharma and his wife, Ginni Chatrath had welcomed a baby girl in their lives and ever since her birth, the newbie-parents have been on cloud nine. Kapil and Ginni had tied the knot on December 12, 2018, and while we were eagerly waiting for their first-anniversary celebration pictures, Kapil had shared the news of their little one’s arrival. Two days before their first wedding anniversary, the family of two happily became a family of three. Post his child's birth, Kapil has resumed his work and is beautifully managing his work-commitments and taking care of his wife.
Kapil Sharma is busy hosting his comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show and every weekend we spot stars coming on the show and promoting their movie. Recently, the star cast of the movie, Good Newwz, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh graced the show to promote their film. When Kareena entered the show, she congratulated Kapil on becoming a father to a baby girl and said, “Choti si, pyaari si, nanhi si, lovely lovely lovely gorgeous beauty aayi hai aapke ghar mei... Laxmi aayi hai aapke ghar pe yaar." To this, Kapil revealed that his daughter and Kareena’s son, Taimur’s doctor is the same. He revealed, “Aapko pata hai doctor bhi same hi hai... Mereko jab pata hai, jaise jab logo ne mujhe bataya that you are in safe hands, Taimur bhi yehi hue the, maine kaha oye hoye, mere ko toh maza aa gaya, same doctor aur dono safe hai." On December 10, 2019, Kapil Sharma had announced the good news of his baby girl’s arrival and had tweeted, “Blessed to have a baby girl need ur blessings love u all jai mata di”. Soon congratulatory messages started to flood his social media handle and when contacted by The Indian Express, the elated daddy had updated about the newbie mommy and their newborn. He had remarked, “I feel blessed and happy to have a little princess in my life. Both Ginni and the baby are doing well. This is the best day of my life, and I can’t wait to spend more time with my little doll.”
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Kapil Sharma had shared his excitement of becoming a father and how he is not sure if he can hold his baby girl because of cold and cough. The newbie daddy Kapil Sharma had stated, “I am ecstatic. I haven’t slept in two days. I am suffering from a bad cold and cough. So, I am not even sure whether I can hold my baby. The feeling is beyond words. Ginni and I always wanted a girl and we are happy that we’ve been blessed with one. We can’t thank God enough for our beautiful angel.”
Earlier confirming his wife, Ginni Chatrath’s pregnancy, Kapil Sharma had revealed that apart from them, it was his mother who's most excited for the baby as she had been waiting for this moment for years now. When asked how is the Sharma-Chatrath family preparing to welcome the baby, Kapil had shared that there are no preparations going on as they don’t know if it would be a boy or a girl. Everyone was just happily and eagerly looking forward to welcoming the new member of the family. Kapil had hosted an extravagant baby shower for his heavily pregnant wife, Ginni and the star wife was spotted radiating ounces of pregnancy glow in her pink gown, floral tiara, and a diamond neckpiece.
