Bebo shared that her sister Lolo is more like her best friend and they share everything with each other. Kareena even revealed that most of the time, she is the one, who ends up scolding her elder sister for many things. The Veere Di Wedding actress also opened up on the best advice her sister has given to her and said, "My sister has always been so supportive. She is somebody who believes in me 100 percent. She's somebody who doesn't judge me for anything. She is somebody who loves me unconditionally. Somebody who'll always tell me 'be real, be your own person, follow whatever you think is right.' My career path also and my personal life also, I think in many ways we're chalk and cheese. But, she's always supported. Even if she doesn't believe in something I do, she'll always allow me and support me to do that. I think that is the biggest advice that she's given." When Kareena had completed twenty years in the film industry, her big sister had penned a sweet note for her. On June 30, 2020, Karisma Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an appreciation note for her baby sister. She had posted the picture of Kareena's first shot from her debut film, Refugee. Alongside it, she had written, "So proud of my sister.. to strength, determination, and of course talent. Love you."
Kareena and Karisma share a beautiful bond and we all know that, but not many know that Kareena's first encounter with fashion was due to her fashionista sister, Karisma. In an interview with The Telegraph, Kareena had talked about her first encounter with fashion and had shared, "One of the biggest advantages of having a sister is that you can always share each other’s clothes. Be it some special occasion or a casual hangout, you can always sneak her favourite dress from her closet because why not (laughs)! Just like any other sister duo, Bollywood sisters also share their clothes with each other. Whenever I feel like dressing up, I always remember Lolo (Karisma). I just love her fashion sense and I follow her a lot. She used to choose my outfits and get me ready when I was a kid and I loved it. I still ask for her fashion advice as she gives great suggestions and styling tips."

The actress had revealed how her sister, Karisma was stricter than their mother, Babita. She had shared, "Lolo (Karisma) helps me with my homework. Mama's strict about studies. But Lolo is even stricter. She even spanks me sometimes when I am naughty. But that is because she loves me."
