After months of speculations, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are finally husband and wife. The two got married as per Hindu traditions on December 9, 2021, at the Six Senses Fort, Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Social media is screaming with happiness as their secret love story finally got fulfilled and we are all happy for them. However, Katrina was seen crying at her pheras with Vicky as her happiness knew no bounds.
After the wedding pictures of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got leaked online, the star couple had broken the internet by announcing the biggest news of their lives on their respective social media handles. While Katrina had donned a red lehenga from Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the wedding, Vicky had donned an ivory-coloured sherwani. Sending the internet in frenzy and directly making a place into our hearts, Vicky and Katrina captioned their wedding post as:
"Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together."

While we all were busy drooling over their love-dripping pictures and gawking at how royal Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal had looked at their wedding, one of their fans noticed something different. A fan noticed the happy tears in the eyes of Katrina as she was sitting at the mandap, holding Vicky’s hand for phere. Katrina was visibly in tears of happiness as she was finally getting married to the love of her life. Sharing the picture, the fan tweeted:
“The fact that one can see she cried. She cried Happy tears. Because she felt love. My Beautiful Katrina and Vicky you deserve just love.”
For their wedding day, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif had turned into Sabyasachi groom and bride. Katrina had donned a classic Sabyasachi red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work and meticulously embroidered revival zardozi borders in velvet. In homage to Vicky’s Punjabi roots, her veil was custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold. Her lehenga was paired with bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand-strung pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery.

On the other hand, the groom, Vicky Kaushal, had donned an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with a silk kurta and churidar. The shawl was a tussar georgette with a zari marori embroidered pallu and borders. The gold Banarasi silk tissue safa was paired with a handcrafted kilangi and statement necklace studded in emeralds, brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds, quartz and tourmalines in 18k gold from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery.
In one of the pictures shared by Katrina Kaif, we could see her, exuding new bride vibes as she had laughed her heart out! The gorgeous bride had radiated the glow as she had worn a statement mathapatti, neckpiece, matching earrings and a nath. However, what had caught our attention was her uncut diamond mangalsutra, and we are stunned!
