On May 3, 2022, Salman Khan’s sister, Arpita Khan and his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma had hosted a grand Eid party at their Khar residence. The party was indeed a star-studded one as celebrities from Bollywood and television were papped while entering the venue. Starting from Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Sushmita Sen, Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D'souza, Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi to many others were seen donning ethnic ensembles. And, till now social media is filled with glimpses of the same.
Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif has always been very close to her alleged ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan and his family. Rumours about their dating for more than five years were rife in the media, however, with time everything has faded down. Katrina is now married to Bollywood's handsome hunk, Vicky Kaushal, but she and Salman still share a warm bond. However, Katrina's absence from Salman's sister, Arpita Khan's Eid bash had raised many eyebrows. Recently, we got to know about the reason.

According to a report in BollywoodLife.com, Katrina Kaif, who got married to the love of her life, Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021, went to an undisclosed location with him. Thus, Katrina and Vicky were not present in Mumbai, due to which she couldn't attend Arpita Khan and her hubby, Aayush Sharma's Eid party. As per the report, Katrina flew off to Delhi where her darling hubby, Vicky is shooting.
Earlier, Salman Khan, his sister, Arpita Khan and his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma were not seen at Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's wedding. This had raised many eyebrows. However, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Aayush had revealed how the family had reacted to this. He had said:
“For us, Katrina is a very dear friend and all of us wish her all the best. It’s the way she wants to decide her marriage and there is no big deal about it. I think everyone makes a very big deal. It’s her and Vicky’s big day and they need to have a good time, in whatever capacity, that’s about it.”

Further, into the conversation, Aayush Sharma had mentioned that they all were delighted as Katrina Kaif had found her love in Vicky Kaushal. He had added:
“Katrina is always going to be close to us as a family and we are just happy that she is happy. When people find happiness, that is the most beautiful thing we can wish for our family, friends, colleagues, that everybody finds their centre and their happiness.”
On the professional front, Katrina Kaif will be next seen in the film, Tiger 3, co-starring Salman Khan.
