Indian cricketer, KL Rahul and his ladylove, Athiya Shetty are the newlywedded couple in Tinseltown. The duo, who tied the knot in a whimsical wedding on January 23, 2023, left everyone mesmerised with the glimpses of the same. However, for the first time ever, the newlyweds got candid about their love story with each other and shared some interesting details about their relationship.
In a YouTube video shared by Vogue India, the newlyweds, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul took a relationship quiz, where the couple answered questions about each other. When the duo was asked who among them is the better driver, Athiya pointed at Rahul. To which, he stated, “She does not know how to drive”, while Athiya quipped that she would not put anyone’s life at risk. However, when the duo was asked who is the funny one, while Rahul said that it has to be him, Athiya replied:
“I think it’s me. Maybe we should have a vote on set today on who’s the funny one.”

However, later, Rahul and Athiya were asked to reveal who is more stubborn and both of them instantly pointed at each other. Then Rahul said, “Definitely, ask anyone. Anyone who knows both of us will tell you that it is her.” In one of the hilarious segments of the video, Athiya Shetty asked KL Rahul if he knows who she is most scared of in her family and who she feels closest to. To this, the doting husband answered:
“You’re the closest to your mother, and the whole family is afraid of you.”
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty dated each other for three years before finally tying the knot. Further in the conversation, when they were asked who is the first one to say sorry after a fight. The doting wifey, Athiya instantly replied that it is always her who apologises first. However, when the duo was asked who was the first one to say 'I love you' and initiate the relationship, they both started thinking. But after thinking for some time, Athiya replied, “I don’t remember, you?”, and Rahul said:
“It would have been me…I think it's me.”

On January 30, 2023, newlyweds, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty made their first public appearance after their wedding as they stepped out for a dinner date. For the outing, Athiya opted for an oversized blue and brown-hued printed shirt paired with denim pants. On the other hand, Rahul was seen wearing a white-coloured t-shirt and blue denim. The couple happily posed for the paps stationed outside the restaurant and flashed their bright smiles. However, a section of netizens was upset with the fact that Athiya didn't opt to wear sindoor and mangalsutra on her first public appearance with her husband, Rahul, seven days after their wedding.
