Indian cricketer, MS Dhoni is known across the world for his phenomenal batting skills. Apart from being an ace player, MS Dhoni is an amazing human being and fans adore him for his cool sense of humour and his sharp thinking. However, it is his love story with Sakshi Singh that made them one of the most-loved couples. Dhoni and Sakshi are hailed as the cutest couple in the cricketing world and their life was overloaded with cuteness after the arrival of their angel, Ziva Singh Dhoni.
For those who don't know, Dhoni and Sakshi's fathers worked in the same company in Ranchi and they were family friends. When they were kids, Mahi and Sakshi went to the same school DAV Shyamali in Ranchi. However, they had lost track when Dhoni's family moved away. After which, the duo was reunited in the year 2007 in Kolkata, where Sakshi was working as an intern at Taj Bengal. And that's when our captain cool fell in love with Sakshi's charm.

Dhoni and Sakshi got married on July 4, 2010, in an intimate ceremony. Recently, we stumbled upon an interview of Dhoni, wherein a small kid asked her how he had proposed Sakshi. During a Stars Sports talk show, a young fan asked Dhoni how he had proposed Sakshi. To this, Dhoni's funny side came out and said:
"It was a long time back. We are married for four years now. We dated two years before that. This was valentine's day time I was in Australia at that point of time. I did not propose her actually. We just having conversations and everything. I tried to put in verse that I like her. But never really went that way. I proposal was instead of saying I love you, I say will you marry me. So will you marry was before I love you."
After which, the host of the show, Mayanti interrupted Dhoni and asked, "She said yes the first time or did you need to convince her?" To this, Dhoni recalled that she wasn't serious at first. It was after his proposal she became serious. Dhoni said:
"Initially she was not really serious about it. We are talking about dating and that time I propose her she became very serious and she knew that fact about that that he serious about me. As a cricketer, people have a different perspective. I had to go through all that and finally we got married."
MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni completed twelve years of marital bliss on July 4, 2022!
