Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali give us the perfect example of being in love as they don’t wait for special occasions only to remind each other the importance they hold in one another’s life. It was on the actor, Vikas Kalantri's sangeet ceremony that Mahhi had disclosed about getting married to Jay in a secret ceremony on November 11, 2011. Setting another milestone for youngsters, the couple had adopted their caretakers’ kids, Khushi and Rajveer, and later on, the couple was blessed with a little angel, Tara on August 21, 2019.
Jay Bhanushali never skips a chance to crack a joke. Just like his never-ending habit of spreading happiness with jokes, he has never-ending love for his wife, Mahhi Vij. As it is Karwa Chauth, Mahhi observed the fast for her hubby and dressed up in a red Anarkali suit, and her sindoor filled forehead not only took our breath away but also Jay was drooling over her. For Karwa Chauth, Mahhi Vij donned a red Anarkali with golden patchwork and paired it with a red dupatta. Keeping her makeup simple, she adorned herself with a tinge of sindoor and we couldn't take our eyes off her! On the other hand, her husband, Jay Bhanushali looked dapper in a white kurta paired with blue denim. While Mahhi captioned her post as "KarwaChauth Ready! The one day that tests us and yet keep us strong! #happyKarwaChauth", Jay put a quirky caption alongside his post which can be read as "Happy #karwachauth @mahhivij. In the year 2019, Mahhi Vij had celebrated her first karwa chauth after delivering their baby girl, Tara Jay Bhanushali. Mahhi’s dearest hubby, Jay had posted endearing pictures of his wifey, herself looking like a chaand in a white ensemble. Sharing the pictures, Jay had captioned them as “Chand chupa badal mein..loving these pics @mahhivij last night #karwachauth #fasting #love #lovemywife #familygoals #family.” Unlike other celebs, who were usually seen in red attires, Mahhi had opted for a white lehenga choli with golden beadwork while her husband, Jay had complemented her by wearing gold-coloured kurta-pyjama and a royal blue bandhgala Nehru jacket. After a secret 2011 wedding, Mahhi and Jay had again tied the knot in a secret wedding at a church in Las Vegas in the year 2014. Jay and Mahhi’s love for each other is evident through their social media handles. To mark their 10th wedding anniversary, the couple had shared a beautiful video from the day they had gotten engaged. Taking to their respective IG handles, Jay and Mahhi had shared their engagement video with heartfelt messages. In the video, we could see Mahhi and Jay, walking towards the stage, holding each other’s hands, exchanging their rings and then dancing in the glory of their love.
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Jay had elaborated on the ups and downs the couple has faced in their 10 year-long married life. He had said, “Of course, ups and downs make you strong. When you have a strong partner like Mahi, it helps you a lot too. There have been times when things don't go your way and you are tired of it but having a strong woman next to me makes it easier where she guides and helps me." When Jay was asked if he would like to relive his love story with Mahhi, he had immediately replied, “Of course, I would really love to relive the love story and the best part is the journey has been beautiful and now with Tara, we are welcoming a brighter future."
