The gorgeous actress, Mahima Chaudhry had made a permanent place in our hearts with her role as Ganga in Pardes. She had seen a really low phase in her professional life when few of her films had tanked at the box office. Her personal life too was taking a toll on her, and as a result, she took a break from acting in 2010.

After breaking up with Tennis star, Leander Paes, Mahima got married to a Kolkata-based architect, Bobby Mukherjee in 2006 in an intimate ceremony. In 2007, Mahima had embraced motherhood and welcomed a baby girl, whom she has named Ariana. After some years of their marriage, the couple had started facing troubles in their marital life, resulting in a divorce. Mahima is a single parent now.
On June 10, 2021, Ariana turned 14 and Mahima penned an adorable birthday wish for her girl. Taking to her IG handle, Mahima posted pictures of Ariana, looking beautiful in a white full-sleeves sweatshirt and black shorts. Along with the pictures, Mahima wrote, “Happy birthday sweetheart… loved u for a thousand years …will love u for a thousand more music.”
A few days back, Mahima had taken to her IG handle and had shared an array of selfies with Ariana, where her teen daughter was seen goofing around with different expressions. Revealing how difficult it is to get a perfect selfie with her teen, Mahima wrote, “When u ask a teen for a selfie.... it’s hard to get one."

Mahima loves spending time with her daughter, and pampering her. On April 18, 2021, Mahima had shared an adorable throwback picture with her daughter, Ariana. In the picture, the mommy could be seen hugging her then-4-year-old daughter as the two posed for the camera.
The little girl looked like a mushball in her blue frock with pink dots, fringe haircut and two ponytails. It was her chubby cheeks and radiant smile that melted our hearts. Sharing the picture, Mahima had written, “Tb to when my baby was only four years old! Time flies by so fast” atop it.
After her debut film, Pardes, Mahima had gone missing from the silver screen for two years. The reason behind that was during the shoot of Ajay Devgn and Kajol's home production, Dil Kya Kare, Mahima had a massive accident where a truck had hit her car. The glass of her car had gone mostly into her face and in the surgery, the doctors had taken out 67 glass pieces. The devastating accident had left a deep mark on Mahima, both physically and mentally.
