Taking to her IG handle on February 21, 2023, Malaika Arora dropped some mushy romantic pictures with her beau, Arjun Kapoor, as they attended the private premiere of the latter’s uncle, Anil Kapoor’s new film, The Night Manager. Both the pictures captured candid moments between the couple, who seemed to be in all splits at a laughing riot. Malaika looked hot in a grey-hued pantsuit teamed with white-hued pointed heels for the event. On the other hand, Arjun looked dapper in a moss green oversized shirt paired with grey-hued pants. Malaika penned a sweet note along with the pictures, which appreciated Arjun’s infectious laughter. The caption can be read as:

While her social media post conveyed tons of appreciation and spoke volumes about their love-filled relationship, it was not taken positively by a section of society, who slammed the couple immediately. Taking to the post's comment section, the netizens began to age-shame the couple. While someone tagged Malaika as a “sugar mommy”, another commented, “Bacche ko fasa liya”.

Malaika Arora has been quite vocal and open about her opinions and choices in life and never frets away from mentioning them out loud in the world. For instance, during one of the episodes of her reality show, Moving In With Malaika, the actress became up close and personal and spoke about her plans for a second marriage to her sister, Amrita Arora. Mentioning that she would deserve their mother, Joyce Arora’s kangan soon, Malaika mentioned:
“Out of the two of us, if anybody was probably going to get married again it would be me. So I think I deserve the bangle, not you.”
In yet another episode of her reality show, Moving In With Malaika, the gorgeous diva made some candid confessions to her best friend and director, Farah Khan. In a homely chit-chat session, Malaika revealed that she had discussed the plan of settling down with her beau, Arjun Kapoor, at length, and she even plans to have more kids in life. Revealing how Arjun Kapoor keeps her happy in life, she mentioned:
“I don’t know what the future holds for me. Humne iss baare mein baat ki hai. Aap apne partner se aisi cheezon ke baare mein baat karte hai. Aaj jo insaan meri zindagi mein hai, woh mujhe khush rakhta hai. I don't care iske baare mein duniya kya sochti hai.”
