Mandira Bedi had adopted a little girl and had named her Tara Bedi Kaushal a few months ago. It was on the occasion of Dussehra, that Mandira Bedi and her hubby, Rraj Kaushal had shared the arrival of Tara in their lives. The couple had shared a family picture and had introduced their daughter, Tara to the world. Since then, the elated mommy Mandira Bedi keeps sharing pictures of their little munchkins, Vir and Tara on her IG handle.
On December 9, 2020, Mandira Bedi shared a stunning, twinning and winning in blue picture with her kids, Vir and Tara on her IG handle. In the picture, the gorgeous mommy can be seen twinning in blue with her kids as she smiled for the camera while the little goofballs sat beside her and hugged her lovingly from the side. Mandira captioned the picture as "I think I may be the #luckiestmomever." Check it out below:
In an interview with the Mid-Day, Mandira Bedi had opened up on maintaining the balance between her work and her personal life and diverting her time to her two kids, Vir and Tara. The actress had shared that she tries to give more time to her son, Vir, so that he doesn't get jealous of her adopted daughter, Tara. Mandira had shared, "As a parent, I have had to strike a new balance. Vir told me the other day, "I feel jealous when you tell her, 'good girl'." So, I am now paying him more attention too. I decided to take a few courses on parenting, and they have given me new ways and tools to deal with the change in our lives. I play a game called Secret Box where you put 15 to 20 items in a box, put a timer on, and just be with the child. I do this with both my kids. Vir usually chooses the colour pencils and creates art. Tara goes for the play dough. Nobody else but the child and I are together at this time." Mandira had also shared how her son, Vir had reacted the first time when he had met his sister at the airport. She had said, "Vir and I were waiting for them at the airport. When she arrived there, I saw this tiny person, in a weird dress and plastic hat. On the flight to Mumbai, she sat on my lap and stared at Vir the whole time. Vir didn't seem like he was going to be warm towards her. We had started the adoption process when he was six, and he was excited back then. But now, at nine, he was a bit like, "I am not sure how I feel about this"."
Announcing the news of Tara's arrival, Mandira Bedi had written, "She has come to us Like a blessing from above, Our little girl, Tara. Four years and a bit With eyes that sparkle like stars Sister to her Vir Welcoming her home With open arms and pure love Grateful, thankful. blessed Tara Bedi Kaushal Became a part of our family on 28th July 2020.” And Rraj had written, “On this festive occasion of Dussehra we would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family Tara Bedi Kaushal.
