Life can be cruel at times as your loved ones can leave you at any moment and all you can do is live with their memories for the rest of your life. South superstar, late Chiranjeevi Sarja’s sudden death had shocked his massive fan base. However, every heart had cried that day for his wife, Meghana Raj as she was five months pregnant then. For the unversed, Chiranjeevi and Meghana had tied the knot on April 30, 2018. On June 7, 2020, at the age of 39, Chiranjeevi had breathed his last due to cardiac arrest. While their love story was a short one, Chiranjeevi’s proposal to Meghana was everything grand.
On October 22, 2020, Meghana Sarja had given birth to a baby boy. On September 3, 2021, sharing a video of her memories with her late husband and clips of their baby boy, Meghana had announced the name of their son. At the end of the video, Meghana had revealed the name of their baby boy as “Raayan Raj Sarja.” She had captioned the video as:
“The name is….”

Late Chiranjeevi Sarja and Meghana Sarja have many fan pages, which dig out details from their personal life. A fan page posted a video on their IG handle, where Meghana recalled how Chiranjeevi had proposed to her. In the interview video, Meghana first shared that her parents call her ‘Kutty ma’ and thus, Chiranjeevi too had started calling her the same. When asked who proposed first in their relationship, and how was it, Meghana replied:
"Obviously Chiru. I didn't propose as I wanted attention from his side. There was nothing like take your time! Knowing Chiru, he didn't ask me if I like him. It was more like, 'I like you, you must like me’."
In an interview with The Times Of India, Meghana Sarja had recalled the dreadful day of her husband’s death and had revealed:
“The day started off like any normal Sunday. Prerana (Dhruva’s wife) and I were just outside the house along with Dhruva when my father-in-law called us in saying Chiru had collapsed. We had never seen him like that. He'd lost consciousness and then regained it for a bit.”

Meghana had also recalled her late husband, Chiranjeevi’s last words to her when he had regained consciousness. She had shared:
“All I remember is that in the brief moment that he had regained consciousness at home, he had told me, ‘Don't get tensed. Nothing will happen to me’.”
On October 4, 2020, Sandalwood actress, Meghana Raj Sarja had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a beautiful picture from her baby shower. In the photo, we could see her father, Sundar Raj, mother, Pramila Joshai, and her late husband, Chiranjeevi's cut out. While his cut-out had made us realise the harsh reality that he's no longer with us but the way Meghana had made her late husband a part of her baby shower had won many hearts. The doting wifey, Meghana had captioned the picture with a heart emoticon.
Jr. Chiru’s official name, Raayan has been derived from his late father’s name, and it means heaven’s flower!
