After surprising their fans with a hush-hush wedding in May 2018, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi delighted their followers with the news of their pregnancy. Six months into married life, Neha and Angad stepped into the next phase of their lives and welcomed a little angel, Mehr Dhupia Bedi, who promoted them to parenthood. Ever since little Mehr had said 'hello to the world', she has been making frequent appearances on her star parents, Neha and Angad's social media profiles. Even the doting parents leave no stone unturned to make little joys and milestones of their baby girl special in every possible way they can.

The stork had visited Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi at Womens Hospital, Khar on November 18, 2018, with their little bundle of happiness. To announce the arrival of a little angel in their lives, Neha and Angad had given the first-ever glimpse of their newborn with the captions, "Mehr Dhupia Bedi says hello to the world..." and "Waheguru MEHR Kare @nehadhupia." And it was Mehr's elated grandfather, Bishan Singh Bedi, who posted an adorable picture of his grandchild. He had tweeted, "U Little Beauty MEHR..another Lifeline for Grandparents...Both Maternal & Paternal..Aren’t we Blessed..?!! Yes All of it by Guru’s MEHR Only..GodBless Little One..Welcome to this Journey..Ordained by Almighty WaheGuru..!!"
To celebrate Mehr Dhupia Bedi's two-and-a-half-year birthday on May 18, 2021, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi treated her with chocolates and a yummylicious chocolate cake. Giving a glimpse of Mehr, who was gorging the chocolate given to her, Neha captioned the post as "Two and a half years today ... our baby girl a little bit (or a lot) of chocolate never hurts ... #smalljoys #bigmilestone #babygirl."
To mark Mehr Dhupia Bedi's second birthday in November 2020, her father, Angad Bedi had posted special moments with his daughter from their vacation. Expressing how blessed and lucky he feels to have Mehr in his life, Angad had written, "Today at 11:25 am you were born to us… Happy birthday to our baby girl "Mehr" she turns 2 today. Our lives have been a blessing since you arrived. We are lucky to have you. Thank you for choosing us as your parents. @nehadhupia #satnamwaheguru forever grateful." Ever since the birth of Mehr Dhupia Bedi, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi have only posted partial glimpses of their little girl and prefer keeping the limelight, they have signed up for, away from their daughter. Speaking about not showing their daughter's face to the world, Angad had said in an interview with The Times Of India, "I get many requests from fans to see her picture and I feel that everyone wants to see her. She is her own person. She is two right now and maybe when she is five or six years old, she will ask us why we are not putting her picture out. That can be asked to us. We just want to secure her and if in future she is comfortable with having her imagery out, we are no one to question that. Till the time she is okay with it, we would like to protect her."
Speaking about the 'too much pressure' they want to keep their daughter away from, Angad Bedi had continued, "There is a situation where pictures get tracked too much and get impressionable. There is too much pressure and we want to keep her away from that but in the coming years she is okay with that pressure, we are not going to challenge that too."
