Before telling you how did the rumours of Mika Singh and Chahatt Khanna had started and whether there's some truth to it, have a look at how Chahatt's little doll, Zoharr had celebraed her birthday. The actress had turned 33, on July 18, 2020 and her little daughter, Zoharr had made her mother's birthday extra special with love and affection. From getting her a birthday present to singing a birthday song for her, Zoharr had done everything in her power to make her mother's birthday memorable. After five days of his 'good friend', Chahattt Khanna's birthday, Mika paji, took to his IG handle to wish her with an array of pictures together, and a lovely note in the caption which can be read as "BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR FRIEND @chahattkhanna .. The rumours of singer, Mika Singh dating Chahatt Khanna had started with Chahatt posting a picture of both of them, on her Instagram handle, in which they were twinning in black, with the caption, "Let's be someone's quarantine, Glad we found each other in this lockdown #quarantinelove @mikasingh", followed by a heart emoji. The pair had become the talk of the town after their pictures had gone viral.
Later, in an interaction with Bollywood Spy, Chahatt Khanna had spoken on her dating rumours with singer, Mika Singh. She had revealed that they were shooting for a song by the name Quarantine Love, and due to the lockdown, they had shot it in the home. In her words, "Logon ne mera dimaag kha liya hai, literally. People are like, 'Do not date him! Humara dil tod diya!" She further added that there were some followers who thought they looked good together, but it was all for a song, which will be out soon. Talking about the shoot, Chahatt had said, "Humne ghar me hi shoot kiya hai, we are next-door neighbours. I just hopped into his house. Hum dono ne mil kar phone pe shoot kiya hai."
Further in the conversaion, Chahatt had added that the pictures captioned as '#QuarantineLove' were just a part of the promotion of the song, which people had taken as their affair. She had explained, "That's what the whole promotion plan was, to do something that creates a question in everyone's minds. I don't know why people have problems with him, he is a very nice person. The story doesn't end here, we had even caught Chahatt Khanna having a lovely dinner date with her next-door neighbour, Mika Singh, about which she had posted on her Instagram stories. Dressed in a cream and red coloured saree, Chahatt had written, "Tnx for the lovely dinner #quarantinelove" atop the video with Mika Singh. Chahatt had also posted a selfie to wish 'good morning' to Mika, in which she could be seen wearing a white shirt. Reposting the picture, Mika had written, "Good morning dear. You look good in my white shirt." Now, this makes us wonder if it really was for the promotions of their song?
