Naturally, their home would not be just another celebrity house in Mumbai, right? Even though Shahid Kapoor's career graph hasn't been as shining as it should be, considering the powerhouse of talent that he is, he is still one of the highest paid actors in the Hindi film industry. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor have registered their home which is located in the plush area of Worli, Mumbai. In fact, their duplex, on the 42nd and 43rd floors of Tower B of Three Sixty West, costs a whopping Rs 55.60 crore! Giving their fans an update on their dream house, Mira Rajput Kapoor has shared a couple picture of herself with Shahid Kapoor on her Instagram handle. Along with a home-emoji, Mira has captioned the following picture as, "Building a dream together #workinprogress." Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan who is an interior designer by profession was approached by Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor. Gauri Khan had shared a few pictures from Shahid and Mira's visit and had captioned them, "Perfect setting for my new collection with Shahid and Mira. Thanks for dropping in." Shahid Kapoor had shared with a media portal that he wants a safe place for his daughter, Misha Kapoor wherein she can have a normal childhood. The Kabir Singh actor had said, "The new home that Mira and I have booked has a garden and other amenities like a gymnasium, etc. Today, our requirement is having a safe place for Misha where she can play with others. In another interview, Shahid Kapoor had shared that currently, he has a small house in Juhu and now the requirement has changed. Shahid Kapoor had shared in an interview with DNA, “I have bought a new home in Central Mumbai. It will be a year-and-a-half, perhaps even two, before we do the interiors and move in there. However, it’s an investment that I needed to make. I have a much smaller home in Juhu and with two children, the requirement of the family has changed.”
Shahid Kapoor had also shared that while he was hunting houses he would tell his agent to find a place with few neighbours. He had said, "Earlier, when I was house-hunting, I would tell my estate agent that I want a place where there were few neighbours. I didn’t want anyone gawking at me. He had further added, “So, I had converted my 3BHK Andheri home in such a way that I had a massive bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe and the works. I was a bachelor then and my views on the subject were diametrically opposite to what they are now. Today, I want my children to have their own rooms. Obviously, Mira and my requirement is having a bigger space where the two of us can spend time.
