Shahid Kapoor's wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, rules millions of hearts and inspires many people with her generosity. She is a doting mother to their children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, and makes sure to give them all the happiness in the world. Time and again, Shahid has stated that Mira has indeed turned his house into a home. Mira recently launched her YouTube channel, on which she gives her fans an insight into her life. Now, she shared a new video and answered some questions about herself.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor, and their kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, will soon shift to their new home, which is located in Worli, Mumbai. Their duplex, on the 42nd and 43rd floors of Tower B of Three Sixty West, costs a whopping amount of Rs. 55.60 crores. In August 2019, there were reports that Shahid and Mira’s Worli home was ready for them to move in. However, owing to the pandemic, the couple couldn't move into their new home, and the surge in COVID-19 cases had delayed their plans.

A few moments back, Mira Rajput shared a new video titled Get To Know The Real Me on her YouTube channel. In the video, the star wife answered her fans’ questions about her life. During one of the segments of the video, Mira was asked to define what she considers ‘home’ for her children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. The doting mother said:
“I want home to be a safe space for them where they can just be themselves, And I want them to feel at home with us, wherever we are.”
Further, in the video, Mira answered a fan's question asking about what she does on a flight. Talking about the same, Mira shared how travelling alone on a flight is different from travelling with her husband, Shahid Kapoor. She said:
“I read, I always have some book in my bag. I listen to music. If I’m travelling with Shahid, then that’s the one time we get to really chat without phones, any signal, text messages or disturbance…that one time when our time is each other’s. I like to do that on a flight.”

On January 14, 2022, Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken to her IG handle and had dropped two pictures on her IG stories. Sharing the pictures, Mira had asked her fans to send suggestions for planning space allocation for her kitchen in her new home. Mira had shared that she wants a masala/tadka friendly kitchen and had also mentioned some of the organisational tips given to her by her friends. Atop one of the pictures, Mira had penned:
"Not my nightstand today and this time asking you all for suggestions. We are moving to our new home soon and just as I thought I have taken all the decisions I could I realised that was just a start.... Currently planning my kitchen and I want to make it as efficient, sturdy, neat and masala/tadka friendly. Do share your organisational hacks/secrets. I have borrowed my friend's idea of integrating a Matka into the dispenser system so no countertop traffic, recommended cookware (to last), indigenous methods of cooking to be brought back, next level efficient appliances (no burnouts thanks). Even inventory management we all have systems and sometimes somebody is just better."
On January 13, 2022, Mira had taken to her Instagram handle and had reshared her designer's IG story. In the video, we could see a glimpse of her home under construction. However, the view outside of their home had won our hearts. Sharing the IG story, Mira had written:
"Not much longer to go. Tick Tick Boom."
A few days back, in an interview with ETimes, Shahid Kapoor had talked about moving into their new abode. He had mentioned that he and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, have purchased their new flat keeping their children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, in mind. The actor had compared families to an adrak (ginger) and had explained:
"We needed more space for our kids (Misha and Zain). We really liked the house we saw. It had a great vibe. It’s a bigger space than what we have right now. The kids are growing up and they will need this kind of space. Right now, everything in my house is my kids’ space. Mira and I need our space, too. With passing time, making more room for the family is extremely important. Family adrak ki tarah hoti hai, failti rehti hai. It grows and that feels wonderful. And as it grows, you have to be able to accommodate it with all its increasing needs.”
