We are talking about the one and only Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani’s engagement with the youngest daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta, Shloka Mehta. But before this big day, Ambanis and Mehtas had a gala mehendi and sangeet ceremony. Yes, you heard that absolutely right! The couple actually had these ceremonies even before their engagement. Ever since this news of Akash and Shloka’s engagement broke, people have been eagerly waiting for this day.
Nonetheless, everyone’s having an amazing time looking into Akash and Shloka’s pre-engagement bash that took place on June 28, 2018. It was a starry party to remember, we must say! The big shots from the Bollywood land such as Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji and Priyanka Chopra came to grace the occasion. One of the most emotional moments took place on Akash and Shloka’s pre-engagement party. Well, there is a video of Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani dancing with her daddy dear and created their own ‘Dilbaro’ moment. And that’s not all, even Nita Ambani danced with her. In the video, we can see famous Bollywood singer Harshdeep Kaur and composer-singer, Shankar Mahadevan requesting the baap-beti jodi to dance and the two then could be seen drowning into the emotional moment.

For the ones who don’t know, the power couple, Akash and Shloka entered the pre-engagement venue together hand-in-hand. While the bride-to-be, Shloka, wore a pink, heavily embellished lehenga with heavy Kundan jewellery, all designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The groom, Akash, looked every bit of royal in his bandhgala. The smile on their face was a proof that how happy they were in each other's company. To tell you about Akash and Shloka’s love chronicle, well, it all started since their school days itself at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. They became best of friends and soon their friendship turned into love. On March 24, 2018, Akash officially proposed to Shloka in Goa, in the presence of their respective families. And as per the reports, the couple will be tying the knot by the end of this year, probably in December. But, as of now, nothing is confirmed.
