There's a famous saying that, "A baby is something you carry inside you for nine months, in your arms for three years, and in your heart until the day you die." However, the pain and sacrifices that a mother does for her child throughout her life need no introduction. However, sadly, there are still some people who aren't aware of the intense pain that a mother goes through during her pregnancy. Sharing some light on the same, popular television host, Shruti Nakul, who is also the wife of playback singer, Nakkhul Jaidev has come forward to talk about her experience of delivering their baby through water birth. Shruti Nakul has decided to talk about her experience about her water birth delivery after receiving so many questions from her fans and people. On August 2, 2020, Shruti and Nakkhul had welcomed their baby daughter, whom they have named, Akira Sruti Betarbet. Scroll down to read it all!
On September 1, 2020, famous South Indian actor and playback singer, Nakkhul Jaidev's wife, Shruti Nakul took to her Instagram handle and posted two adorable pictures from her water birth delivery, as their daughter, Akira turned one-month. In the pictures, we can see Shruti and Nakkhul in a birthing pool along with nurses. Along with these pictures, Shruti wrote a long note unfolding everything about her delivery and how she and her husband had managed to pull this off together. Shruti started her note revealing the person, who convinced them in choosing the water birth delivery. She wrote, "We went driving all the way to Hyderabad along with our four cats when I was 32weeks pregnant! Many of them asked us "Why Hyderabad? Why alone? How can you both manage alone? "Here's the answer. @mayas_amma is one of the main reason for us to take this huge step and for educating us about respectful birthing and evidence-based research on pregnancy, postpartum and lactation."
Going further in her note, Shruti credited her doctor, Vijaya Krishnan for her constant help and how she talked to her for an hour explaining everything about the process. Shruti added, "Vijaya Ma'am, our amazingly sweet midwife from @sanctumbirthcenter ! She's truly a wonder woman! I remember trying to get an online consultation here in Chennai with so many gynos to talk about birthing options. Some didn't even give us more than 3 minutes of their time. Vijaya Ma'am was on a video call with us for close to an hour and answered to all my queries so patiently that too right after attending to another labour! That very night, @actornakkhul and I decided that we are not going to deliver anywhere else but only at @sanctumbirthcenter!" Going further in her post, Shruti talked about her 12-hour-long labour and how delivery helps a woman recognising her greatest strengths. In her words, "You can see in the pictures, my wonder woman who helped me through my 12-hour labour, like a mother comforting her own child! Those kind words that you were whispering to me when I was undergoing so many emotions were just absolutely something I can never forget. I honesty wish and pray that every single woman should have this kind of respectful and gentle birthing option! Birth truly takes a woman's deepest fears about herself and shows her that she's much stronger than them! I urge all women and their spouses to please, please do your own evidence-based research and not just blindly follow something or someone. Trust me...when you train hard, you can fight easy."
On August 20, 2020, Shruti had taken to her Instagram handle and posted the first-ever family picture with her husband, Nakkhul, daughter, Akira, and their pooch. While the face of the little princess was hidden by a smiley emoticon, the picture had given us major family goals. Along with this warm and beautiful picture, Shruti had written a caption thanking everyone for the congratulatory messages on the birth of their daughter, and it can be read as "Thankyoufor all for the overwhelming love and wishes we received. For a while now, most of ya'll have been thinking that we have named our daughter "KHULBEE" That's just a nickname. Na(khul ) Sru(bee) = Khulbee."
