After dating each other for more than 9 years, the childhood sweethearts, Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh Mehta have been enjoying their marital bliss for 9 years now. The couple is all set to welcome their mini version into their lives and had made a cutesy pregnancy announcement in November 2020 on their respective Instagram handles. While Jankee had shared pictures, flaunting her baby bump in a blue dress, Nakuul had given funny expressions. Jankee’s pregnancy glow made her look mesmerising and we totally loved how she flaunted baby bump in a velvet purple crop top and pleated purple skirt. Sharing the pictures, Jankee wrote, “From this moment life has begun.” These pictures made Nakuul propose the idea of re-marriage to Jankee as he shared her post on his IG handle and wrote, “Marry me?” Nakuul also shared a picture with Jankee from the same outfit on his IG handle and wrote, “Mohabbat” in Urdu.
Nakuul and Jankee have been constantly busy with photoshoot sessions and often share pictures from the same. ‘Twinning and winning’ has certainly become a way of expressing your affection for your loved ones as for one of their photoshoots, Jankee and Nakuul had twinned their shirts. Taking to his IG handle, Nakuul had shared a series of adorable pictures from the photoshoot with his wifey, Jankee. In the pictures, the couple had twinned their shirts as Nakuul had worn a floral shirt with a bow on the collar, a pullover, and pants, and Jankee had worn red pants with a similar crop floral shirt, which had accentuated her baby bump. In a joint interview with the Elle magazine, Nakuul and Jankee had talked about their new journey towards parenthood. Talking about their decision of embracing parenthood amidst the pandemic, Nakuul had said, "Our decision of starting a family was, in a way actualised by nature, giving us this time to slow down and think about our dreams together as partners. As hard as it is to not look back at 2020 with an incredible amount of sadness, we feel together we have been able to garner maximum value out of what was handed to us, and that feels good." Jankee had agreed on this and had opened up on one of the happiest parts of the journey, which was feeling the first flutter of her baby moving inside her. She had said, "Spending hours by myself staring at my tummy and experiencing the kicks, flutters, movements of the little one inside of me."
