Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most sought-after celeb couples in Bollywood. It was on April 14, 2022, when the duo had taken their wedding vows and had begun their forever journey. The intimate ceremony had taken place at their Mumbai home, Vastu, in the presence of 40 close friends and family members. Ever since then, we are gushing over the two and their dreamy wedding pictures.
Ranbir Kapoor’s father and veteran actor, late Rishi Kapoor had always wanted to see him as a groom. On April 15, 2022, after all the wedding festivities had got over, Neetu Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful picture with Ranbir Kapoor. In the picture, Neetu was seen posing with Ranbir, with her hand on his shoulder. Smiling her heart out, Neetu had penned an emotional caption, dedicated to her husband, late Rishi Kapoor. The caption could be read as:
"This is dedicated to Kapoor Saab, your wish has been fulfilled."

During a media interaction, Neetu Kapoor, who is currently promoting her upcoming film, JugJugg Jeeyo remembered her husband, late Rishi Kapoor and recalled a funny incident when he was in the hospital. Narrating the incident, Neetu revealed how Rishi Kapoor had indirectly taken a dig at Ranbir and Alia and said:
“One very funny incident (I remember), my husband was in the hospital, in the ICU, and Ranbir, Alia and I used to be sitting in the ICU all day, because he was unwell. Once, my husband looked at me, and he said, 'tumlog kitne velle log ho, saare din baithe rehte ho', which he was telling Alia and Ranbir.”
Alia had shared a very warm bond with Rishi Kapoor. On his second death anniversary, the doting bahu had taken to her IG handle and had posted a throwback monochrome picture of him. The picture was taken when Alia had visited Rishi Kapoor in the US, where he was undergoing treatment for leukaemia. Atop the picture, Alia had written:
"Always and forever."

Alia Bhatt had stood like a pillar of strength for the Kapoor family throughout Rishi Kapoor's treatment. After his death, Alia had penned a eulogy for him and had described her experience of knowing him. Alia had shared a note for the great soul, and it could be read as:
"What can I say, about this beautiful man, who brought so much love and goodness into my life. Today, everyone speaks of the legend that is Rishi Kapoor and thought I've known him like that all my life. For the past two years, I have known him as a friend, a fellow Chinese food lover, a total cinema lover, a fighter, a leader, a beautiful storyteller, an extremely passionate tweeter and a father!"
Neetu’s upcoming movie, JugJugg Jeeyo is slated to release on June 24, 2022.
