However, this time around Neha Kakkar has revealed a major detail about her and Rohanpreet Singh's cutesy love story and how it had started in the first place. In an interview with Pinkvilla, popular singer, Neha Kakkar revealed it was lockdown that had played the biggest role in her and Rohanpreet Singh's love story and marriage. The singer revealed that one day she was sitting idle in her room when she had decided to write a song, and it was her siblings, Sonu Kakkar and Tony Kakkar, who had helped her in completing it. She said, "One day during the lockdown, I was sitting idle, and I thought let me try and make a song. My brother and sister already have this talent, and I managed to make 'Nehu Da Vyah'." Neha also added, "The lyrics are such that I wanted something like this to materialize for me. I wrote it very optimistically, and I didn't know this would really happen. The boy in the video would be my husband."
On November 8, 2020, the fashion designer, Anita Dongre, had taken to her official Instagram handle and had spilt out some details about their love story. In the long caption, Rohanpreet had revealed the details of their first-ever meeting and had shared, "We literally met for the first time on the set of the song we did together - Nehu Ka Vyah and I didn't even realise what she wrote for that song would come true one day. A few days ago, Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh had appeared on the popular comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show for their first-ever interview together and the couple had left everyone awestruck with their romantic chemistry. During the show, Neha had that her hubby, Rohanpreet wasn't ready to get married at the age of 25. But then one fine day, Rohanpreet told her, "I can't live without you, let's get married." Neha had thought that Rohanpreet was drunk, and he might forget it all the next day. Neha had also further revealed that when she had landed in Chandigarh for another shoot, Rohanpreet had come to her hotel and had reminded her of what he had said.
