Also, have you ever heard of a pre-engagement party? When it comes to the Ambanis, be prepared for the most unusual and unique things. Giving goals to many, Akash Ambani and his finacee, Shloka Mehta had a pre-engagement bash yesterday night (June 28, 2018).
While we will again get into all the details of who all were present at the celebration, what took our breath away was a beautiful performance by the saas of the to-be bride, Nita Ambani. Isn’t it beautiful? Yesterday’s bash witnessed a wide array of tinsel town stars all decked up for Akash’s pre-engagement party. The party was organised at the Ambani household itself, Antilia. Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji and Priyanka Chopra attended the celebration. What also caught everyone’s attention was Priyanka Chopra, who was sizzling in a beautiful red saree, walked hand-in-hand with her alleged beau, Nick Jonas. While Priyanka hasn’t shared anything about her relationship yet, this time the ‘couple’ didn’t shy away from any photographs and posed happily for shutterbugs. Take a look:
Akash and Shloka will be officially engaged on June 30, 2018, and we can’t be more excited! Yesterday morning (June 28, 2018), the Ambanis also hosted a regal pre-engagement mehendi party for their darling bahu, Shloka. What was ethereal was the nanad-bhabhi jodi of Shloka and Isha twinning in their mogra duppatta, happily posing for the camera.
For the uninitiated, Shloka and Akash are childhood buddies who decided to 'update' their friendship to a lifetime of togetherness, when Akash proposed to Shloka on March 24, 2018 in the presence of their families.
At a recent interview, Akash spoke about the beginning of a new relationship with his childhood buddy. He said, “I am truly happy that our friendship has blossomed into love and Shloka and I are getting married, she is a truly special and extremely kind-hearted person”. In yet another interview with a leading media portal, Nita Ambani, post-Akash and Shloka’s proposal had said, “I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our hearts”. A source close to the family had revealed, “Shloka is a very charming girl, extremely cultured and it’s difficult to say which of the two families is lucky with this upcoming marriage”. (Don't Miss!
