Bengali actress and MP, Nusrat Jahan had embraced motherhood in August 2021 with the arrival of her bundle of joy, her son, Yishaan. Since then, she has been hitting the headlines for numerous speculations about the father of her child and Nusrat being a single mother. Now, the actress has addressed all the rumours and spoken about them with honesty!
Nusrat Jahan is currently doing a chat show, Ishq With Nusrat on the radio channel, 104.8 FM. The Ishq FM shares their weekly episodes on their Youtube channel, and on the recent one, Nusrat took the guest chair to answer a few questions of the viewers.

Ishq FM shared a brand new episode on their Youtube channel, wherein Nusrat addressed all of the speculating questions and answered the social media users' queries. She opened up about embracing motherhood and said that it was the boldest decision she has taken in 2021. And, her son has a 'normal father and a normal mother'. She said:
"I've not made any mistake. It's my life and I've taken the decision. People might find it bold but I think it was a very sane decision to take. I've never spoken about this so that I can keep my sanity intact. Just because I didn't speak up on this matter, many people have said a lot of things. So today I'm speaking about this. Yes, I've been extremely extremely bold and I'm very proud of my decision of being a mother. I'm not a single mother, my child has a normal father and a normal mother like me."
Further answering the questions, the actress talked about how her body had changed while she was pregnant with her son and revealed that she has not gone under knife. Nusrat mentioned she used to look like a zebra. She added:
"I didn't go for a nose job. My nose changed size due to hormonal changes. My leg also got swollen. My body had two-toned skins, making me look like a zebra. If I laid on the zebra crossing, there wouldn't be much of a difference between us. Slowly I'm getting better since my son is out of my womb."
Nusrat even revealed that the amount of mental stress she went through was insane. She shared that she used to cry if her plants died, and she used to have weird cravings at midnight. She further added that she ate bananas, a fruit which she had never eaten in her life, at 3 am.

On November 4, 2021, Nusrat had celebrated her first Diwali with her son, Yishaan Dasgupta. Her rumoured boyfriend, Yash Dasgupta too joined them and to mark their first Diwali together, the family of three had twinned in purple outfits. Nusrat had taken to her Instagram stories to drop two pictures. One picture was of her and Yash Dasgupta. While Yash had worn a purple kurta and white pyjama set, Nusrat had looked stunning in a purple saree. In another picture, Nusrat had shared the first glimpse of her son and had added a ''Happy Diwali'' sticker atop it.
For the unversed, Nusrat was previously married to a businessman, Nikhil Jain.
