Pakistani Bride Wore Sabyasachi Lehenga For 'Mehendi' And A Tarun Tahiliani Outfit For Her 'Vidai'

For a woman, the most special moment is when her wedding date gets fixed. From then, starts the countdown to begin her new journey. The road from 'Miss to Mrs' is not at all easy. It is filled with a lot of preparations and brainstorming to find the prettiest outfits, venue and decorations for the wedding festivities. And then, starts the fear of leaving her parents' home. Indeed, a wedding is a rollercoaster of emotions for the entire family.

The world has changed in the last two years of the pandemic. The grand weddings have turned into intimate affairs, but the couple makes sure to turn it into a memorable affair. The Pakistani bride wore Indian designer, Abhinav Mishra's sharara for her nikaah

The bride of the week, Altish Yousaf, who is the only daughter of her family, had donned a gorgeous Indian designer, Abhinav Mishra's ensemble for her nikaah in Pakistan. The beautiful bride had opted for a regal gold sharara for her special day. Her outfit featured heavy sharara pants with a v-neck kurta and a sheer dupatta carefully tucked over her head.

The bride had accessorised her look with a statement choker neckpiece, earrings with sil, a passa, and a nath. Her bridal look was completed with subtle makeup with thick mascara, highlighted cheeks and soft pink lips. She had kept her hair tied in a sleek bun at the back.

The bride had donned ace designer, Tarun Tahiliani's lehenga for rukhsati

In a Pakistani wedding, vidai is called rukhsati. It takes place when the bride and the groom leave the venue together with the elders of their family. For this ceremony, the bride was decked up in Tarun Tahiliani's lehenga. She had looked super gorgeous in a multi-coloured lehenga, which featured a full-sleeved choli.

The bride had styled her look with heavy jewellery from Hazoorilal Jewellers, which are based out of India. A statement neckpiece, matching earrings, a heavy nath, a maang teeka and a passa had accentuated her look. She had dolled up her look with soft golden smokey eyes, highlighted cheeks and mauve lipstick.

The Bride and her mother wore Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehengas for mehendi ceremony

For the mehendi ceremony, the bride and her mother had opted for Sabyasachi Mukherjee's lehengas. The bride had looked stunning in a white lehenga with multicoloured geometric prints. She had styled her look with an uncut gemstone neckpiece, oversized jhumkis and a sheesh patti. She was dolled up with highlighted dewy sheen makeup and pink lips.

On the other hand, the mother of the bride had picked a velvet green-hued lehenga with floral zari work. She had looked stunning in a contrasting maroon-toned neckpiece, earrings, a maang teeka and a passa. However, it was her Taj Mahal motif golden clutch that had accentuated her look. Subtle nude-toned makeup and hair tied in a low bun had completed her look.

Well, we loved the bride's every look and how she had picked Indian designers for the most special day of her life. It proves that we might be miles away from each other, but our rituals and traditions and love for ethnic wear is still the same. What do you think?
