We all know how Paras Chhabra had strongly opened up on his feelings about his then-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri on the show, Bigg Boss 13. While he was passing statements inside the BB house about his relationship, Akanksha was clearing her side of the story outside the house through her Instagram feed. From the beginning, Paras had made headlines for his closeness with Mahira Sharma. Paras had even gone on records and had shared on the national television that his girlfriend, Akanksha had forced him to get her name inked on his wrist.
Recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Paras opened up on his breakup with Akanksha. He said, "My relationship with Akanksha Puri was in its last leg before I entered the house. We were having problems from the past few months. When I was entering the show I told Akanksha, we will discuss about these issues after the show is over. I don’t understand why she is claiming that she was sending my clothes and handling my flat and bank accounts? Akanksha knew that things are getting over between us and it was not because I had gotten a show that I was planning to break up with her."
Paras further shared that he is financially well off and was never dependent on Akanksha, "I was financially secure and not dependent on her. I have never asked her to look after my flat or bank accounts or belongings. I came to know later that Akanksha was choosing my clothes and sending them. I was never requesting her. If she was my girlfriend then she did not have to go on record that she was doing all this for me. What was her reason to prove to others that she was doing things for me?" For those who don't know after the bitter breakup, Akanksha had covered-up her tattoo (which had Paras written on it) with two strong words and it is a proof enough that she is happy without him. A few days ago, Akanksha had shared an Instagram story, wherein, we had spotted her new tattoo. In the picture, we could see a bar code tattoo covering up her ex-boyfriend, Paras Chhabra’s name. And on top of it was written, 'Being Me'.
In an interview with BollywoodLife, Akanksha had talked about how she met Paras and other initial details. She had said, "It’s been two years since we are together. I’m very secretive about my personal life. I never spoke about our relationship; however, Paras was open about it. We were together for a long time. However, my private nature got between us. This became a little issue between us, as he misconstrued my secretiveness as I’m not sure of the relationship. He started having trust issues as I used to behave differently with him in the public as well."
In an interview with The Times Of India, Akanskha had shared why she loves Paras. She had stated, "I’m very private and low-key, he is a little controversial. That has always been my concern though. However, with this, I’ve spoken about my relationship for the first time. Everyone is very happy. Even the family is happy. Enough of running away from relationships. I’m sure he is my man."
