Almost a week ago, Paris had released her podcast's first episode, This Is Paris, and had talked in detail about her engagement with Carter Reum and their marriage plans. She posted the video on her IG handle and wrote, "The first episode of my @ThisIsParisPodcast is out now! I reveal all about my engagement with Carter for the first time EVER. Need all the details? Paris Hilton gave her fans a glimpse of her huge emerald diamond cut engagement ring during her appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest. The ring's massive size finally caused the host, Ryan to stop and ask for a close up look at the ring, as it was "blinding" him on their video chat. Paris put her left hand up and showed a close up of the gorgeous ring. Talking about the same, Paris said, "He did good. I'm so happy." She then mentioned that it was designed by the L.A. based great-great-grandson of French jewellery legend, Louis Cartier, who founded the namesake luxury jewellery brand in 1847.
Talking about Paris Hilton and Carter Reum's love story, the two had dated for almost a year before Crater had popped the question. Carter had proposed to Paris on February 13, 2021, while they were celebrating her birthday on a private island. Talking about the grand proposal with the Vogue, Paris had said, "I am excited about this next chapter and having such a supportive partner. Our relationship is one of the equals. We make each other better people. He was absolutely worth the wait.” Paris had looked incredible in a white dress for the big day with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit. On the other hand, Carter had donned a white suit as he got down on one knee. Paris Hilton's family members were also on the island, including Paris’ sister, Nicky Hilton, to celebrate the occasion. Paris Hilton and Carter Reum had begun planning for a future together way before their engagement. In January 2021, Paris revealed that she had started undergoing IVF treatments to have kids. She had said, “I can pick twins if I’d like. Carter and I talk about [getting married] all the time and planning our babies’ names and all of that. I’m really excited to just move on to the next step of my life.”
For the unversed, this is Paris Hilton's fourth engagement. From 2002-2003, she was engaged to model Jason Shaw. She had then gotten engaged to Paris Latsis in 2005 after less than a year of dating. In January 2018, she was engaged to Chris Zylka for nearly a year before their November 2018 split. And now she is with Carter since the end of 2019.
